A couple things…
Since I moved into this house, my diverter never fully worked. I ended up needing to use a handle diverter AND spout with diverter in order to fully transfer the water flow to the shower. I was told I needed a new valve. Since my sink faucet is brushed nickel, I set out to find a 3 handled tub/shower set that was also brushed nickel, and that was a challenge to say the least. I ended up buying this set, as style-wise, they looked most similar to my sink setup. However, I ran into two unfortunate things, but one, I figured may be beneficial for others to know before they return the set. Firstly, be prepared to lose water pressure as it seems the majority of valves for sale now have a 1.8GPM flow rate. I didn’t realize this…just figured a valve was a valve, but my plumber was aghast as how bad the flow rate was and knew I would not be pleased after he installed it. Secondly, I worried about the down-turned diverter as my spout was very close to the the diverter. Sure enough, it hit the spout and couldn’t turn fully. Another reviewer mentioned they ran into the same problem and returned the set, but before you do so, here are some options, as I think that down-turned diverter looks strange anyway. The cheapest route is to simply go to Ace Hardware and get a Danco for Delta clear diverter knob, item # 4001014. Another option is to order a brushed nickel diverter from Kingston Brass that goes with another set. This diverter is (Kingston Brass KBDH608AX Diverter Handle for KB238AX, Brushed Nickel). I am attaching pics of my setup initially, the new KB set with the Danco diverter, and then finally, with the KB diverter from another set. Both diverters work perfectly. I am not thrilled with this set, however. The flow is bad, and the finish also does not seem to be “brushed nickel.” It almost has a rose gold tinge at times. Very strange. Most likely due to the background “tile paint” color however. Since I’m limited on options, and the plumber slaved away on this one for hours…tinkering with the flow rate and also said the cold water valve was initially backwards…I’m pretty stuck with it. Not willing to go through more drama, so made it work for now.

Good price for a good product
At first, we thought we bought the wrong set-up. But it went together just great, the leak is gone and the wife is happy!

Kingston Brass as good as Moen or Delta with customer service.
As a high-end custom remodeler for the past 37 years, I have worked on over two thousand bathrooms. There were times when parts were missing from the replacement shower/tub valve package. Moen and Delta were always great about shipping out missing parts. Kingston Brass falls within that standard. The valve I purchased was for my own guest bathroom tub. It was missing the escutcheons, which are the pipe flanges that cover the holes made when the valve casting goes through the tile wall. The Kingston Brass staff was prompt, professional and shipped the parts within a reasonable time. Very happy with the product quality and the company’s service.

Good except for the shower head
It seems to be a good quality product, with the exception of the shower head (I had to buy a replacement) and the knob plates which don’t bother me, but they are not the exact same color as the knobs. Can’t tell how long they will last yet, but I’ll plan on posting a follow up after 1-2 years. If the shower head wasn’t so awful, I would give 5 stars. PS: I got an open box for 1/2 of the cost (like new condition) and was still packaged in the plastic, although didn’t come in the original box. Definitely worth the savings.

Low pressure
Everything works well except for the shower head . The shower head I replaced had great pressure and the water flowed nicely , it was just old and doesn't look as nice anymore . So I put this shower head up and the pressure sucked and the water came out of the shower head in a weird manner even after turning the middle of the shower head to control how the water came out there was no change . So I put my old shower head back up and will order a nicer shower head.

Missing parts
The problem it was missing threaded straight pipe for the spout. It was also missing the thread connectors to your 1/2 in. Pipes. I had to go and buy the 4 pieces so that added another $40
