Well made, fit perfectly as replacement for an old cast iron tub
Found out by luck that the brass pipe between the shoe and the drain pipe has almost been corroded thru. There are not many solid brass drain kits on the market for under $100. After some brief search (including checking out the $90 kit from the big Asia country at a local store), I went with this kit (Made in Taiwan). All the parts are very well machined and fit perfectly, all I need to do was cutting two pipes to match the old pipes’ lengths. One nice feature of this kit that I did not see in the old drain unit is that there is an inner pipe (~3” long) screwed to the bottom of the tee where it’s transitioned to the ABS drain pipe (in my case) for the tub, providing (I suppose) better support and continuation of drain-flow. I left out the lever-controlled drain stopper since I just got a new pop and turn drain conversion kit (that’s how I found out the corrosion situation) that comes with an adapter for the large shoe which is more common in newer tubs whatnot.

Good product but funky overflow gasket doesn't seal; drain itself doesn't have brushed nickel finish
This drain assembly is not quite as beefy as the Gerber one it's replacing, but overall it's a solid product. I couldn't get the overflow cover to seal properly with the weird thin gasket that it came with, but a traditional thick wedge-shaped one from Home Depot worked just fine. Also, it would have been nice if the drain itself had a brushed nickel finish instead of just the strainer screwed over it. I bought a toe-tap replacement drain from Kingston Brass which had a brushed nickel finish drain and used it in its place. It's more money but now I have the option of using the internal drain stop or I can screw in the toe-tap drain stop too.

Great product
I didn’t need it that long and I trimmed it to fit. If your handy you can trim to almost any length you need.

It's durable
The only thing I had todo was cut the pipe to size. Word to the wise-dont forget to take out the plunger first...

Toggle valve switch works half the time
The flipper valve is unreliable and I have to go through warranty to get another plate. Hoping the plate is the problem because it appears wallowed out and didn't hold the flipper tight enough. I'll update the review to reflect my customer service experience.

Is it correct for your tub
Unfortunately it didn't fit,the angle where it meets the tub was incorrect for a gerber tub,wouldn't seal properly,I had to purchase something else, I would have returned it,but I had already cut the down pipe before I realized the angle was incorrect
