Overall it looks like a nice faucet, can't review how it actually works once hooked up because when I assembled the unit and went to put the hot and cold knobs on one was grooved and the other was not so only the grooved one fit, I will be returning in Hope's they send me the right hardware this time

Great, but not perfect. Can be modified easily.

I have searched for years for a replacement faucet for my clawleg bathtub, without success. Now there are several very suitable faucets from Kingston! I first purchased a 4" centers faucet on Amazon, only to find that my tub requires a 3-3/8" centers. (Damn!) A further search turned up the correct 3-3/8" in a variety of styles. I chose the "labeled" porcelain handled cartridge valve chrome model, which I really like. Only three minor problems: 1) Dischage is just short of being above the tub's rim, so doesn't meet anti-syphon requiements. 2) The cartridge valve handles (hot and cold) are slightly "off" in their splined alignment. 3) The discharge spout threads into the main body and when "tight," is slightly "off center." I haven't spent much time on these alignment issues, and there may be some simple corrections. THANK YOU, KINGSTON!!! Revised on 8 February 2014: I have since found that 1) The spout discharge is about 1/2" above the rim of the tub. Possibly not to code, but certainly good enough for anti-syphon. 2) Installing a "thicker" O-ring from Ace Hardware positions the spout in the proper position 3) Still haven't corrected the slight miss-alignment of the two handles, but since they will be operated mainly by "feet," I'll work on that later. I'll re-rate the faucet set as a "5."

It is beautiful in the wall of my old clawfoot tub.

I like that it pretty much matched the faucet that i bought for my vanity sink. It is chrome and beautiful. It fit perfectly in the wall of my clawfoot tub, which was the biggest worry when ordering. Plumber installed and no problems.

Beware Kingston Brass

This was missing the setscrew that holds the handles on. Given my experience with Kingston Brass, I would stay away from them. Of the three items I bought all had something wrong or missing.

Ok if you don’t mind imperfection

I really like the quality of the taps themselves. However very disappointed that the hot and cold porcelain handles don’t line up. The word hot faces the bottom of the tub. No way of adjusting it. I would have sent them back but we already installed them.

Looks great one of the handles is from a different model but I messaged the company hopefully they will fix it soon.
