Quick and effective
I’ve been an outdoor lighting owner and installer for 7 years and these are always my go to waterproof wire nuts. Fits many sized wires and easy to use

Works great and waterproof but!
These wire nuts work very well for outdoor wiring. They have a more than adequate connection and I believe that I should get years of good waterproof continuity in my wiring. BUT, have paper towels or a rag handy because your going to get greasy from all the silicone that comes out when you insert the wiring into the nut. At least you know it’s a water proof connection. I would recommend these to anyone.

Junk, possibly a bad batch.
I’ve been an electrician for 30 years. I don’t do a lot of outdoor/landscape lighting, but I have a good customer that wanted me to rewire and replace 30 post mount lights. I normally use dielectric grease in a standard wire nut, but I needed to make 90 connections, so I figured these would save some time. I was wrong! As soon as they started to grab, the coils came loose. I’m assuming I might have gotten a bad or defective batch because the reviews were pretty good. I even tried pre-twisting the conductors, but made no difference. I really wish these were constructed better, probably would have saved me a couple hours. Luckily I'm still in the return window, so off they go!

Waterproof and No Mess
I like these. I used them to install new tail lights on my boat trailer. They are packed with silicone caulk or such. When you poke the wires in it evidently breaks a seal. When you screw it on the wires a tiny amount of sealant my leak out, but makes no mess; just shows it's sealed good. I have sealed wire nuts before using a tube of silicone and mashing it in the nut, but I never know if I get all the air out, and it makes a sticky mess. These are not cheap, but so convenient!

Makes quick work of connecting your low voltage cable
I have used a two different sizes of these King products. The work great and make for a waterproof connection with no hassle. Out of something like 30 connections I only had one connector fail as I was trying to screw it on. Unlike others, I believe the size is correctly described for the appropriate gauge wire and recommend simply paying attention when ordering to the size wire King describes for the specific connector. I used the Blue pack for tying two 12 gauge wires to a 16 and I used the Red for tying one 16 gauge to one 12 gauge. The Red could handle more, but it worked great.

Solution for wires exposed to salty air (think beach houses)
I live 400 feet from the Pacific ocean and the electrical connections for my solar panels continually corroded and broke. Numerous fixes by 'experts' proved to be expensive and short lived. I finally came across these and they work but for how long is yet to be determined. When attached the copper wires are embedded in waterproof silicon. These should be a lasting solution.

Great for Low Voltage Lighting Application
Much more cost effective than purchasing the clamp on connectors and probably will have a better connection life. I have used these with 3 #12 wires or 1 #10 with 2 #12 wires and they fit easily. Could easily do 3 #10 wires. I just bought a second pack as I am doing lots of landscaping right now.

Stability in keeping the connection inside the gel-filled cap
The gel-filled cap needed to be taped securely to the wires otherwise it will get loose, the wire connection exposed and left unprotected from the elements.
