Amazing feel but not right color
I loved these pillow cases. Did not completely open because could feel and see in packaging. They were a Christmas gift ???? for my boyfriend but he wanted a lighter color. Not happy because I returned these to Kohl's more than a week ago and I haven't received a credit!!

Exactly what I expect from Egyptian Cotton
I was looking for pillowcases to replace the 1000 thread count egyptian cases I bought years ago. They finally wore out. Unfortunately the company that sold them is no longer in business. So I tried these pillowcases and they are perfect for what I want. They are the right color, thickness and softness I expect from Egyptian cotton. The count is higher, 1500, so I wasn't sure what I was getting but I liked these so much I bought two more sets. Mine are white and they match the old pillowcases perfectly. I have not tried the other colors but it is nice to know that I can buy another set of sheets and pillowcases in the same thread count in different colors. The pillow cases come in two sizes, standard and king size. I wish they would make different size pillow cases that I could use for queen size or travel size pillows.

Material is great
And these would be 5 stars.. Except.. They are SUPER narrow. I have to jam my king size pillows and almost bend them to get them to fit into this pillow case. I feel like over time this is going to cause them to rip at the seems, and its just unfortunate. If they used an extra like 4-5 inches of fabric these would be perfect and 5 stars. But as they stand today, they are simply too narrow, its hard to recommend them and I dread doing laundry each week.

Heavy, exactly what I was looking for!
If you want a thick, heavy and soft set of sheets these are it. this is my second set of these. the first set only lasted a few years but I blame that on myself for not following their washing instructions. this set is being washed in cold water with woolite. I'm hoping to get 10 years out of this set. I've got about 300$ in this set (we have 8 pillows). one complaint I did have on the first set was the bottom sheet did not fit my mattress (not deep enough pocket) This new set they did increase the depth some and it has the elastic band all the way around now. it does fit better but still slips off. my mattress measures right at 16"

Great value
VERY deep pockets. I buy a new set of these cheaper sheets about once a year. We sleep on them for 365 nights, then I donate them. They do get softer over time, but the fabric doesn't allow for much stain treatment. Being white, I expect to be able to bleach them, but it says specifically to not bleach them... I'm totally okay buying them new every year, because they really work to control body temperature when you're in bed. It's the middle of winter and we only have a few blankets on the bed. During the summer, we still have a few light blankets, but we're not too hot! These are NOT egyptian cotton...duh. NO WAY would they be this cheap, but they are just as comfortable!

Unable to obtain return label which was supposed to be sent to me within 5 days
Great sheets however I need queen sheets and king pillowcases, so I ordered queen sheets with queen pillowcases and separate order for King pillowcases. Received standard pillowcases, ordered King three more times, received standard three more times. Unable to use my queen sheets with standard pillowcases and unable to obtain the advertised king pillowcases I decided to return the sheets. The return was processed online with a return shipping label to be sent to me within 5 days. Never received label. Now I have to challenge the charge on my credit card.

Great, but only in the 3-layered trim.
The 1500 white king set from Amazon is great. But, the 1200 king white sheet set that I received from Amazon was not the item pictured. They were the correct Impressions by Luxor brand, but not the right style. I have two sets of the 1500 Impressions by Luxor sheets in the pictured style with 3-layered trim and they are superb, soft, and wonderful. But, I have tried two sets of the same brand in the regular 2-layered trim and they are awful, heavy, and scratchy like canvas. So, I think the varying reviews are due to quality control issues within the Impressions brand. I have several sets of the extra pillowcases in the 3-layered trim and they are great. If you can obtain a set with the 3-layered trim then I highly recommend. If you receive a 2-layered trim version, be wary.

Glorious Egyptian cotton sateen pillowcases
Wonderful pillowcases, I'm very happy with my purchase. They are in fact 100% Egyptian cotton with a very thick, buttery soft sateen weave. You will not be disappointed with these. Treat yourself!

King Size Black Pillowcases are Polyester, not Cotton !
We purchased this item because it was supposed to be 100% Cotton (My girlfriend has a contact allergy to polyester). They arrived quickly. We looked at the material tag right away, in part because of the info on Amazon (and they looked too shiny for combed cotton), only to find that the tag states they are 100% polyester. What is disturbing is that the sticker on the outside of the package says 100% Cotton as well (Right side of picture). I've already printed out the return label and they will be on there way back tomorrow!

The listing says cotton. The packaging says cotton. But as soon as you see or touch the fabric you know it's not cotton; it's too "plasticky". And the label confirms it: it's 100% polyester.

Sooooo thick.. yes they seem to attract some hair but I suspect after 3 washes that will not be an issue. Great.
