So far it is good. It is large enough to see from a far distance . Silent ,that was my main purpose buying this clock. . The only thing i noticed is that when it is on the hour ,the small needle is not exactly "sitting" on the line opposite the hour indication . For example ,if it is 10:00 o'clock sharp ,the small needle is a little bit ahead of the no 10, while the large needle is exactly on the line opposite no 12. It is not bad for the price.

Nicely designed wall clock

Nicely designed wall clock. Keeps good time and easy to see, but not at night. Some one should sell a similar wall clock with a remote control that would let you remotely activate a backlight so one could see the time from your bed, in the dark.

I love how quiet this clock is

I love how quiet this clock is. I have it hanging in a window facing outside so I can see what time it is when I'm gardening. (I hang it behind a blind that is rarely opened. It is very easy to see. I like that it is quiet as I have a clock in every room and in the evening when it is quiet it is annoying to hear the ticktock of 3 clocks! I will post again if I decide 5 stars was too much after I've used it awhile.

I am not a review writer type person. But I liked this clock so much that I decided to write one since there is lot of confusion about this clock. I received it yesterday , I orderd the silver one for my kids room, it comes with 5,10,15 etc in front of 1,2,3 ...I choose this one so that my little boys can read the time easily . It is super quite too, can't hear a thing ...I would highly recommend this one . Placed order for another one just now.

Not a good buy

Completely died after 17 months, and would occasionally get stuck and need a small shake even right after we bought it. Very quiet. Good looks.

Stopped Working at 3 Months

I had LOVED this clock! It looked great with my color scheme in my bathroom and although I could hear the gears running when I was RIGHT next to it - it was not loud enough to be an annoyance. I received this item January 8th 2016 and I noticed a couple weeks ago the clock had stopped. I thought it was the batteries and it started working again, only to find it stopped working AGAIN within the day so it's definitely the clock. I'm so sad, I really loved this clock and sad it only brought me joy for 3 months. I had an IKEA clock that lasted me 8 years, just saying...

Not silent!

Nice and easy to read, but the second hand's sweeping movement is actually kind of loud. Unfortunate since this is an otherwise nice clock for our son learning how to read time.

Doesn't keep correct time

Clock is silent enough for me. It's just not keeping the correct time. Whenever I set the time, it always slows and loses time. Would not recommend.

Amazon.ca fulfilled this order for what I can promise is an absolutely quiet clock. I love the nice big face that is easy to read. I am decorating with an industrial inspired look so I put a protective cage over the clock. otherwise it is too nice looking. .LOL. Beautiful silent clock that is quality and a low price from amazon.

Very clear face. Silent and continuous-moving second hand. I was very satisfied initially but in the past month or so, the clock has inexplicably stopped running several times.I have changed the battery 4 times but the problem still persists. This was a Christmas present in Dec 2016 as was the LaCrosse Tech WT-31 atomic wall clock which my son has and apparently works just fine. Do I have any recourse?

Love it! Truly silent and looking great

We are very happy with the clock! It is 100% silent, people who claim they hear it must have extrasensory abilities. I've had it for a couple of months now and the clock doesn't run slow or fast. Try checking the battery if you notice it does. We love the minimalistic design and large digits. You can't go wrong with the price!

Had to troubleshoot, and don't expect silent

When I bought it, it did not work. I was able to troubleshoot the problem, a slightly bent minute hand, and get the clock working. The clock is quieter than a ticking clock but it is not silent; it makes a steady grinding sound instead. I read reviews and was expecting that, what I wasn't expecting was the hard time mounting it on my wall. I am renting a place and can't put nails in the walls. The wall stickers I normally use don't work as the back has too many bumps. I had to buy a hook to stick on my wall which solved the problem. Edit: I think the grinding sound has become louder over time so I have had to take it down from my wall.

Nice looking, silent clock

I purchased two clocks and I had to push the hands in on one of the clocks because the hands were rubbing and slowing it down. After that both clocks worked well. It's also quite thin which gives it an attractive appearance.
