Brushed nickel has a golden hue. Use DJ Cutchers install hint.
The finish is not the typical brushed grayish silver that I was expecting. It has a subtle golden tone. It is a bit unusual but it worked fine with my kitchen so I kept it. With 3 LED Daylight 100 watt equivalent bulbs, it provides the brightness I wanted. The install is tricky. It’s a bit challenging getting the screws through the fiberglass. Use 2 Phillips head screwdrivers as guides as described in the product review by DJ Cutcher. Works great! Thank you DJ!

Replaced fixture without refininishing ceiling
I had a circline fluorescent fixture in our kitchen. that was 12-inches in diameter. This fixture went in and covered it. The big problem was the ceiling is plaster and had only a 3-inch round hole into the electrical box, and only one screw could go into the box without cutting the plaster. The old light was supported from a nipple coming out of the box. So, I got another piece to screw onto a nipple (a shorter one that barely got below the ceiling) and held up the included bracket to hold the light up. I did remove some insulation to make space for the extra hardware. I also substituted shorter screws for the included ones so they didn't need to go into the plaster. Looks good!

nice looking flush mount ceiling light fixture, easy to replace light bulbs down the road
After reading some complaints from other customers, I checked out DIY videos for similar product on youtube first, and looks like it shouldn't be too hard to have them installed myself. Then I purchased two of the 3-light fixtures to replace my dated Double Circline Ceiling Lights, I skipped those LED light fixtures because it will be much easier to replace the light bulbs down the road. In each light fixture package, there are 3 yellow color twist-on wire connectors/nuts, along with 2 short screws and 2 long screws, so not sure why some users mentioned that no connector or screws provided. Make sure TURN OFF the circuit breaker for the correct room, and you can use the existing mounting bracket and screws if your old light fixtures are also flush mount. Connect the ground wire first, so the light fixture can hang securely and you can connect other wires by using both hands. Since there are 3 light sockets, besides the coper ground wire, you will find 3 black wires and 3 white wires; I kind of twist 3 black wires from light fixture together first, then use one connector to securely twist them with the black wire from the outlet box; I then did the same to the white color wires. My measurement between the 2 screw holes on light fixture is 3 inches, so make sure the 2 long screws on the outlet bracket is also 3 inches apart. The only minor issue with the installation is to match the 2 long screws on the outlet bracket through the protective sponge with the 2 screw holes on the light fixture, but at the end, I was able to install both Kichler 3-light ceiling lights successfully by myself. I only use 2700K soft white led light bulbs for indoor lights, and noticed that due to the brightness of light bulbs, 3x40W is not as bright as 2x60W. My photos are for 2x60w and 3x60w, use them at different rooms.

I'm happy with it
One of the things I was worried about was lack of verification that it would fit where my old light was. I was replacing a similarly shaped fixture that used square socket CFLs, instead of replacing its ballast. Looks like these things are extremely standard after all, it wasn't a problem. Yeah, maybe it would've been nice if there were three wire connections instead of seven, but honestly I don't think I'd want to pay the difference. It was fine. Test fit the glass cover and post before you start the wiring, to figure out how deeply it should be threaded. It's fine. Attach the ground wire short enough that you can hang the fixture by it while attaching the other six wires, and long enough that it can still fit in place over the screws. I felt like there were a few ways it was made nicer than the fixture I was replacing.

Decent budget fixture, but harder to install than. It needed to be
Decent value given the price, but was harder to install than it needed to be. First, they left individual wires running from each socket, leaving me to wire up seven strands instead of three. They had two for each socket, plus one ground for the entire fixture, when they could have wired up all 3 hot and all 3 neutral wires, leaving the customer just 1 hot, 1 neutral, and 1 ground for the whole fixture. Second, they cut the threaded pipe too short by an inch, leaving me just 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch to secure the glass bowl to the base. I kept having to unthread more and more of the central threaded pipe in order to get it to reach down through the hole in the bowl and secure the bowl in place. Finally, minor quibble in comparison, the wires were stranded and silver-colored instead of solid copper. I assume that's common for budget fixtures but it did feel great connecting up aluminum (or whatever the silver electrical conductor is) to the copper wiring in the ceiling. All that said, the price is right, and it's working fine now that it's installed, so maybe a lot of these issues just come with the territory. I was pleased to get a good-sized fixture at low cost.
