Perfect!!

Have to edit this review b/c somehow I deleted everything except the letter "u". I wanted mulitiple size fans of the same model and also being specific about features. They were a bit more expensive that I could have purchased by not fulfilling what I wanted. These were/are PERFECT. Also quiet. Would not change a thing and DEFINITELY recommend.

Absolutely Gorgeous

I don't write a lot of reviews, but with ceiling fan I had to share my comments. We purchased 3 of them to replace existing, outdated fans in bedrooms. It took our electrician a little under 2 hours to install them. The LED lighting is wonderful. The color of the blades (the side that we used), are a deep cherry and actually look better in person than on the website (that's always nice). The matte brass finish is also very elegant. Very quiet. 3 speeds, and the high setting is actually really high. You can control the fan via the pull chains on the fan itself, and also on wall switches (our house was already hardwired with the two switches). This IS NOT a remote controlled fan and the LED lights do not dim. But this is exactly what we wanted. We run these fans a large majority of the time, so I think we will be pleased with them for many, many years to come. I highly recommend this product and would definitely purchase them again! You will not be disappointed. A great value for the money (two large box stores sell the exact same item, but Amazon had the lowest price (Prime Member - delivered UPS).

The Best FAn we've ever purchased.

First: It you want a fan with a remote, don't get this fan! Second: if you want an awesome, gorgeous, stylish, quiet, excellent fan...BUY THIS ONE. We remodeled our kitchen and we wanted a new fan over the island. My kitchen is Craftsman Style, so I was super picky about what type of fan. I finally stumbled upon this fan, and we are IN LOVE WITH IT. It runs silently, great air movement and classy appearance. It blends nicely with our kitchen decor. I have school house lights in the kitchen (other areas) and this fan collaborates with the other fixtures perfectly. do not hesitate. BUY THIS FAN. My husband installed it while I was at work. He sent me a text; LOVE THE FAN (he never does that!).

A really great and stylish fan!

I ordered this fan for a recent renovation to match the polished nickel light fixtures in my room. It was pretty hard to find a polished nickel fan and this was one of the few I found. I love the contrast of the silvery finish with the dark side fan blades. (The silver blades are not very attractive). This fan is super quiet, works perfectly and is of high quality. My only minor complaint is that the light element is not particularly strong as far as wattage goes and does not add much useful lighting to my room as central fixture - something I needed in my space. But otherwise I am very happy.

Love this fan but just wish it came with a ...

Love this fan but just wish it came with a remote. I ended up buying a remote (~$60) and installing it myself which was a huge headache as the upper canopy does not allow much room for the receiver. Overall, I'm very pleased with the look and quality of this fan!

Attractive but not super fast

Very attractive and Very quiet bit I just wish it had one more setting to go faster. I think it’s highest setting feels more like the medium setting on any other ceiling fan we have.

No complaints with this fan. My husband installed it easily (although he has installed a few fans previously). It looks just like the picture. The wood blades have a nice, rich color. The fan is quiet. The light isn't super bright in our 15'x15' room, but I was only looking for ambiance with this light- we have it on a dimmer.

"Natural Brass Finish" is a flat (non-shiny) brass color.

The Kichler 300173NBR Starkk ceiling fan description states, "Natural Brass Finish." The fan is a flat (non-shiny) brass color, and I believe that the fan therefore looks cheap. Nevertheless, this fan is nice for low ceilings & tall people, because the fan is low profile and the blades are connected to the middle level of the fan.

Great fan! Dim light

The fan really moves air and it's reasonably quiet. Also one of the few that I could find that didn't run on a stupid remote. Operates via light switch which is exactly what I wanted. The only complaint would be the light on the fan isnt very bright and the light bulb they used is not a common size so you might be limited if you wanted to find a brighter replacement.

Cracked glass

Glass cover cracked when put in place.. wasn’t able to apply refund since I didn’t put it up till after the return deadline. Would love a replacement cover?!
