Only works with semi permanent and direct dye pigments

I actually really like this! I have been using the keracolor copper conditioner for about 6 months and this took sooooo much of it out! This isn’t going to work with permanent or Demi permanent colors. Only semi permanent and direct dye pigments.

Fades Well!

After 2 thorough washes, my hair has faded to a very light pastel! This shampoo is very drying, so follow up with a conditioning hair mask. It's good to have around if you change your hair up a lot like I do, but the price point is a little high. Definitely a gentler option than a lot of color removers though.

Didn't fade it enough for me

I needed to use this along with other items to fade out color deposited purple. It did the job after a few washes enough to put the teal in. Worth the money if you change color frequently. Lightly scented and lathers nicely

Sort of works but be prepared for a scent lingering headache

So I bought this to help dial down a little extra purple that I put into my hair! I tried it first by washing my hair in a white bath tub to see if I noticed color washing out! The Suds did have a purple hue so it def took a little of the color out. It wasn’t that much less noticeable though! The issue I had with the product was the scent! It literally was so floral and perfume like I immediately got a headache that wouldn’t go away! I tried Re washing my hair with two other types of shampoos 4 times and the scent still lingered! It took over 7 washes of other expensive shampoos to get rid of the potent smell! I def will not be using this any more and will be making an extra trip to my hair dresser… great concept but poor execution!

Kind of a waste

DISCLAIMER: I have direct dye, and it's basically STUCK in my hair. This product states it should help remove that, but I rated it pretty low because I only have the SLIGHTEST color change. That said, I'm dealing with a rough issue, and maybe they're overselling their product. PS. The direct dye is red, IYKYK. So don't expect miracles, but I could see it being useful to keep around for color mistakes right away, I just can't confirm.

Big improvement

I am a VERY big fan of the Keracolors. September 22nd I did Copper all over my natural ash blonde set for four hours and have been washing it out for about 3 months until I was tired of the weird rusty color as it was fading. The shampoo is great. Very emollient, you truly only need a little and that means a lot to this thick textured maine. It is not drying my hair feels smooth and silky and after 2 washes I am very close to my natural ash with a golden/pink tint and all my grays are pigment free. Now a happier customer. Didn’t Work for Me

So I bought this product knowing I would be playing around with temporary hair color and makeup. I first used this when a toner went wrong (turned my blonde hair gray/brown) with minimal results. It smells horrible, left my hair feeling dry and crunchy, and it barely removed any of the cool tones from my hair. I figured ok, that was semi-permanent color and not what this product was for. When I attempted to remove the absolutely temporary color from my hair, I again saw poor results. This time, it mostly did the job but I still had pink in my hair for weeks. The color did not fade out with this product like it says it would. It did get most of the color out but not all. I would not recommend this product because it is way too expensive to leave your hair thirsting for moisture and still color pigmented.

Nothing special

It didn’t remove my color, but I was trying to get permanent brown hair dye out - or at least fade it. It did neither. I use it as a clarifying shampoo.
