Works great!
Love it as a replacement. Glad I had a handyman install it as he had to use longer screws and took quite some time but looks great! I put the Edison type bulb in and is very bright.

Reviews are correct. Two screws to short
My Wife and I like this this lamp. However I read the reviews before I bought it and they all mostly say the two screws that come down from the bracket in the electrical box are to short. I had one that was ok and the other is to short. So I had to take it completely out again and I found two screws the right size that were about 1/4 inch longer. Everyones situation will be different as there are a lot of different variables on your home. Such as the existing electrical box and the surface you are installing it on. This is the same type of connections they use on all light fixtures. Overhead fixtures are usually the hardest to work on for me. My other complaint is that the lamp was not packaged as good as it should of been for a glass fixture. Overall I like the fixture and I prefer devices that use regular light bulbs and ones that the bottom is open for easy maintenance. The other positive about buying fixtures with open bottoms is it allows the bulb to cool where as a closed fixture overheats the electronics in those LED bulbs which cause them to fail. Never buy those LED light fixtures you can not replace the bulb as you have to replace the whole fixture when the bulb fails and it will in time. One star deducted for made in CHINA and one star deducted for the short screws. GOOD LUCK BP

Upgrade lighting for front porch.
Easy “search and find” on Amazon, reasonable price, and quick installation. I ordered and had my upgrade porch light in less than 48 hours. FYI: I used a 60 watt, clear LED bulb to brighten up my entry wat at night. Satisfied customer!

Recommend you find someone to help you w/installation
You'll need 2 people to install this. I held the fixture in place while my husband installed it. He had no problem screwing it into place. Like the open bottom of this light fixture; bugs don't get trapped inside. A little pricey but it's heavyweight & good quality. (Attached photo was taken mid- morning.)

Beautiful light, very difficult to install with mounting bolts.
The light itself is beautiful and as seen, but it was incredibly difficult to install. We've installed every other light it our home with little to no problem. It took my husband and I several tries and days, because we gave up out of frustration, to put it up. The mounting bolts were too short, making it impossible to reach where the acorn nuts secure it, so we had to use longer ones we already had, and spent forever adjusting them to make the light flush with the ceiling. The light looks great, but only if you can get it installed without throwing it across the room in frustration.

Great addition
Looks very nice for our front door area, but installing it was a challenge. So I cleared a place where the insulation was so I could line up the holes for the screws.

Not as hard as made out to be
I want to say that there was one tricky part of installation but if you had two people working on it, then it wasn’t that hard. Reading reviews before hand made it sound like this would be a 2 hour project minimum and would make me pull out my hair. But we were able to take off the old fixture (which had be screwed in and then sealed) and put this one on in under an hour.
