So Happy!
I didn't want to write a review until I had owned and used this vacuum for several months in order to give a solid opinion. At this point I would absolutely say I love this vacuum, I would purchase it again without hesitation, and have very little constructive criticism to offer! PROS: Very easy to maneuver! The swivel head turns very easily around corners, tight spaces, and it feels very self-propelled. It's just lightweight enough to very easily pick up when needed, and the detachable body is wonderful for doing the stairs. The ability to use it as an upright vacuum, a stick vacuum, the multiple attachments for different jobs, the detachable body for doing stairs, just overall a wonderful all-purpose vacuum that is vigorous enough to get every job done, yet light enough to not throw my back out or worry about falling down the stairs because of it! LOL I also personally feel that bagless vacuums, which I have owned in the past, are really gross! Every bagless vacuum can claim that it's mess free, but the two that I have owned were filthy when emptying the dust cup and clouds of dirt and dust would fly up no matter what method I used. So I also love that this vacuum has a HEPA filter bag, and an additional filter, along with light up indicators to tell me when the bag is full so I don't have to mark it on my calendar or keep checking to see if it needs to be changed is wonderful! The cord is super long so it makes it a far way into the house, that does also appear in the cons though. CONS: Only two brief cons.... and even these are being pretty picky! With the cord being so long it does get caught on things Etc so maybe if it was retractable that would be nice. It has multiple attachments, but only two places actually on the vacuum to store them, and they do tend to fall off when vacuuming. I solved this issue though! I bought velcro strips, and I velcroed each attachment to various places on the outside of the vacuum LOL now I always have all of the attachments with me, I don't need to store them in a separate place, or worry about them falling off. So maybe in the next iteration of the vacuum they could work on better storage of all of the offered attachments that can be with the vacuum at all times. As I said, over all I am thrilled with this purchase and I would absolutely recommend!

Great vacuum
I got the rose gold because I thought it was pretty and it did not disappoint, it is gorgeous. So now for the practical. I cannot address how it does on stairs because I do not have any. However, I was confused when I read some reviews that said it was heavy. I thought,What?! The weight in the description says it is only 14 lbs. After I unpackaged the vacuum, I was surprised at how heavy the canister is so after I got it all put together I put it on my scale and lo and behold it showed 13.5 lbs. Guess it has been awhile since I carried a 10 lb. bag of potatoes. Bottom line it is heavier than what I was expecting but still manageable. My purse sometimes weighs as much as the vacuum so not a deal breaker for me. Suction is great! I use it on both carpet (medium pile) and fake hardwood floors. Switching the beater off when going to hardwood is a simple push of the button. You can control the amount of suction with a slider switch for bathroom and kitchen rugs. There are a couple of places to store attachments which is nice. Attachments are easy to put on and take off. I haven't tried reaching the ceiling yet and it will probably be awhile as I figure dust that gets to that height will just fall to the floor and I can get it then. ???? As some other reviewers mentioned, it takes a bit to get used to the maneuverability as it swivels. I can see myself doing the Mrs. Doubtfire thing while listening to music. I do not have pets but shed a fair amount of hair myself. Seems to handle it well. If I encounter any issues I will come back and update.

Marginally better than the Shark vacuum I had
This vacuum is just okay. It is marginally better than the Shark vacuum I had but I would bet good money they are made at the same manufacturing plant. The upholstery tool is nearly identical, just a different color plastic. The cheap, paper-thin hose, which tore through inside 6 months on my Shark, is the same and the little support flange below the top of it--meant to prevent it from tearing through--is the same. The cheap cord and cord connection is the same. You get the picture. I do like three things about this vacuum though. One, it uses vacuum bags. I will never buy a bagless vacuum again and if you have ever used one for any length of time you know why--filth and dirt in the face every time you empty the canister and those disgusting filters to wash, ugh! The bags are cheap too, though; a thin sort of fabric and not the heavy paper of days gone by. Two, I like that it's surprisingly much quieter than the Shark. The third thing I like is that it picks up tiny fine gravel and cat litter off the carpet that the Shark mysteriously wouldn't pick up--it would pick up heavier things like coins but would miss a lot of tiny stuff. Overall this vacuum is everything we suspected would happen when USA manufacturing was sent offshore: cheap quality--this thing is like a plastic toy compared to the made in the USA vacuums of years ago--for the same or higher price, all for the sake of forcing down wages and squashing labor unions here. I am going to be looking at yard sales for a vintage made in the USA vacuum in good condition; until then I will use this and just be glad it uses vacuum bags and I don't have to wash the dirty filters. Since I know the hose will tear through easily I have put a piece of thin foam cushioning on top of the support flange to try to protect the hose a little better. There's not much more to say about this vacuum than that. Addition on March 1, 2023: I have upgraded my review from 3 stars to 4 stars. I am happy with how this vacuum really removes fine dirt from deep in the carpet and brings the nap up, my old carpet looks almost new. So, it's proving to be better than I felt it was when I first got it.

Works Great
This vacuum works great. Has great suction and the cord reaches a good distance. I can almost do my whole main floor of my 1500 sq foot house. It is a little loud but that is its only draw back. Not enough to knock it down a star either.
