comfortable, a great beach/water sandal

I wear a size 9.5 wide or a 10 Wide in women's sneaker/shoe and most all KEEN brand footwear. I have a high arch and somewhat of a wide foot. The CNX model seems to run a slight bit narrower/shorter than other KEEN model of sandals, hiking boot & shoe, I own several pair of KEEN footwear. I found I needed to move up half a size for comfort, women with narrow feet may do ok with true to size. I ordered in a 10 and had to re-order from KEEN in a 10.5 women's shoe. Light & comfortable! Great light sandal for beach, water activities and walking about town. Not recommended as. hiking or true 'river' sandal - but that is not their purpose. (Try the H2 model for that - also great!) P.S. - Amazon return was super easy, and refunded my $ reliably!! Thanks!

Cute but narrow

I love Keens. I have short, wide, high arched feet and Keens have been my go to hiking shoes forever. When the soles of my voyageurs finally fell off I looked for a new Pair and found these. They were just a little more stylish and interesting. That being said, these are the pros and cons I’ve found so far. Pros: Cute. Unique and fun color. Seem to be good quality so far. Cons: Narrow. Way more narrow than the normal Keens to which I am used. Hot! Because they are so narrow I have to wear thinner cotton socks. I have taken two “break in” walks in them and my feet are super sweaty. Overall, I will continue to break them in in hopes they will conform to my feet like all the others.

Best overall shoe

I don’t consider myself to have wide feet. So with that being said these shoes are amazing. Roomy toe box, withstood rocky conditions, lasted all day, and are absolutely water proof. I have worn these on a 10 hour shift at work and they have been so supportive. Just get them.

Absolutely comfortable

Bought these for my run as a scareactor this Halloween season. I’m outside on pavement all night and these keep my feet dry, secure, and so incredibly comfortable! They do seem to be on the more narrow side but I have narrow feet so they are perfect. Highly recommended!

Listen to others: Tight in the toes

I'm giving four stars because they're otherwise very well made and comfortable. Nice cushioning and support in the heel. But others are right when they say the toe box is alarmingly tight, and it cannot be adjusted by loosening the laces. It has cut off my circulation during the break in process. A shame, because every other part of the shoe fits me perfectly - to where if I exchanged for a bigger size, everything else would be too loose. Fortunately, they seem to fit my spouse just fine, so we can still make use of them.

Good for 'on trail hiking'.

I have always liked the Keen brand, and have found them to be good quality in my experience. And while i have no doubt these would have lasted much longer than they did if i used them for only trail/path hiking, the holes in them from just one hike through a mildly wooded area leave me unhappy. They do fit well and are comfortable, and i like the look and color of them, however I would just not recommend hiking through a wooded/forest area where debris such as sticks and branches cover the ground. They will not last long in that kind of environment.

Love Keens!

This was my first pair of the CNX style. I normally wear size 7-7.5 in shoes and find the 7.5 work best in Keen's. These are a little narrower in the foot opening, so a little harder to slip on, but once I got them on, they fit fine. The laces are a little smaller than the Whispers, and I did have to loosen them as far as they would go to make them comfortable across the foot, but I can wear them all day, and with no break-in period. My little toe is sensitive to certain shoes and how they rub across the top, and so far these haven't caused any problem, unlike the Newport and Venice styles. I don't have a really wide foot, most mediums fit fine, but I do wish the Keen foot beds were just a little wider. Toe box is fine. I love the fun color choices too!

Decent boot

Great boot! Great water resistance, good tread, good height for a low boot. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the laces, they are very stiff and come untied easily and frequently.

True to size and perfect fit for M (regular) witdth feet.

They fit perfect, true to size. I am 8.5 and ordered 8.5 just like in other Keen shoes I have. I am regular width in my shoes and these are fitting just right, with thick socks and still roomy. So they may not work the same for those used to the usual Keen style shoes, made for wide feet. Thank you, Keen for for thinking of making shoes for M & N feet people. It is the 3rd pair of Keens I buy this year in regular width. I am "super Keened" now. This is what the guy who sold me the first pair of Keens, years ago, said. ???? Update. we had for most of the day heavy rain that ended in wet snow this afternoon. Tested my new boots. Power walked in them for over an hour and accidentally stepped in a few puddles. Comfortable and came home with dry and warm feet. Love, love, love my new boots.

Great boot

I'm 73 why has it taken me so long to find Keen boots? Very smart boot looks good enough to wear with any outfit not just walking gear. They fit my foot really well, I think I am medium width size 6. They are so light and have been comfortable since I first put them on, usually it takes me weeks to break walking boots in. Also they are a great price I have paid double in the past for good walking boots. Very happy.

Very comfortable boots

I was looking for a pair of walking boots to walk the dog in and general use. Never had a pair of Keen before but the price on Amazon was good so I took the plunge on these. Having worn them for the first time this morning I can honestly say they are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had. Good to go straight out of the box, no wearing in. Think the cross between trainer and boot works really well. Slightly snug when putting on, especially with thermal socks but once my foot was in very comfortable indeed. I walked through a lot of long wet grass to try out how waterproof they were, I wasn’t disappointed but it will be interesting to find out how good they are once the real bad weather kicks in. After 5 months of owning these boots I regret to say that the outsole is wearing away fast. I generally walk along paths and maybe if I’d known how quick the sole would wear I’d have saved these for more grassy/ woodland walks. Still very comfy and will be ok for summer walking.

Wide but comfy

The fit is a bit big and wide in the toe box. The tread is not aggressive, so probably better for well groomed trails.
