The boots are great but fix the quick lace eyelets

I have always gotten the Keen Pittsburgh boots before. I really liked them but I was looking for something more durable. These are a little heavier but a lot more durable. They have the same quick lace eyelets as the Pittsburg boots but those come with smaller diameter shoestrings. They eyelets are questionable on the Pittsburg boots but on these they don't work at all. The larger diameter shoe strings can take a while to get in the second eyelet and will tear your shoe strings up. If you try to bend it it will snap off immediately. I got a second pair and the same problem. I'll probably get a third pair I just have to buy smaller diameter shoe strings right away. For a boot that lists at close to $200 for a pair that doesn't make any sense to me and will keep me but I'll still be looking for the perfect pair because these are not it. If Keen would fix this they might be that pair. Keen seems happy with them and I'm not sure why they are the worst part about all of the 10 or so pairs of their boots that I have bought. You are reminded of this every single day when you lace them up. To me it would be money well spent not to have people upset every day they put on your boots. Until I put smaller diameter laces in them I have to use a pocket screw driver to get the laces in. Even after putting smaller diameter laces in you have to watch what you are doing or they just skip over the eyelet. Most boots the quick lace eyelets almost lace themselves. These boots almost make you ask someone for a third hand to help lace them.

Great Workboot.

I have to say I wasn't too pleased with them when I first put them on because of the break-in period. After I broke these boots in they are probably one of the best and most durable that I've ever owned. The only thing that I have to dislike about it it's that the boots are very heavy. Probably one of the heaviest I've ever owned. But I believe with the heaviness comes with durability. These boots have taken a beating and it looks like they're brand new. I work in oil filled elevator pits in New York City. And these are what my boots look like after 3 months. I love them and I will definitely buy them again. I especially love the extra room in the front by the toe.

Best boots in the world

I don't want to brag or in favor of anyone but the truth this is the best boot in the ???? world because I had before the same.boots last out more then any boot I had in my life and still feels like new .

great work boot. My left foot is a 14 and my right foot is a 12 so I buy a pair of each size. Amazon is great, better than Zappos and the Keen store for selection and sizes in stock, ready to ship.

Keen makes great footwear!!

I have been using Keen boots at work for over 10yrs now. This last pair of boots have been extremely comfortable and look more durable than my old Keens. I I have only been wearing them for a couple of weeks and they have been great. Only time will tell however, I don’t expect there will be any issues just like my last three pairs I’ve had before. Good job Keen, keep up the good work!

Very comfortable and tough

I have a lot of foot pain in my right foot. My feet are happiest when they are on a good firm footbed in a shoe or boot. I bought a pair of these initially from a local shoe store and used them exclusively while building a pole barn in my backyard one year. I pretty much lived in these boots on my off hours and loved them. My feet were always happy and pain free. I would give them 5 stars, but the footbed seems to weaken after about a year of use or less. Even the 2nd pair I bought on Amazon, with much less use, didn't last more than a year and I was replacing them again. The rest of the boot is very tough and I've had no issues with them during the time I wear them. I find eventually the area under my forefoot sinks down and my foot will start to hurt. Up until the footbed degrades, I love them.

I have purchased these boots in the past. I like the way they fit and wear. Still using the same pair from a year ago. Ordering it online made it much easier. I was having an issue finding the size I needed in stock at the store.

Superior Boots!

These Keen Milwaukee boots are excellent quality! Very well made and extremely durable. They last long and take a good beating without looking it or falling apart. Best of all they come in true EE if you have wide feet. The insoles are very good as well. Comfortable even after very long days. I've had many pairs now, and will continue buying this model. Excellent!

Most comfortable boots ever

Comfort,quality and looks. Zero complaints about this boot so far. Redwings have always been the best boots in my opinion in comfort and durability. But I can say these Keens are equal if not more comfortable then redwings. Now we will just have to see if they last and don't leak.
