Nice design and bright colors
Bought for a Christmas gift. Very pretty and nice lid. Paying for the name of course….good quality. You decide if the price is worth it. I wouldn’t have purchase for the price if it was for myself. It’s very nice though….

Cute Bowls With Bamboo Lids- Not Dishwasher, Microwave, or Oven Safe
These are very cute, but very very impractical for use involving foods that need reheating or may stain in my opinion since these are not dishwasher, microwave, or oven safe. I've never owned bowls that feel as interesting as these, and I can only assume that the bowls and the lids are both made out bamboo since the only material I could find on the Amazon page is bamboo. I feel like Kate Spade is focusing more on fashion and style rather than functionality on this product, and I think I'll be using these to store items that are unrelated to food or for cold/dry foods that don’t stain or need heating up like cut apples or snacks. I initially didn’t know how to feel about the phrase written on the top or what it referred to really. I want all the foods?! While they are not wrong about wanting all the foods, I was curious as to why they put that on there and thought maybe it was a theme from Lenox line, so I looked at one other similar floral dish-ware with wooden lids and it said, “anything is possible.” Anything really is possible with the right motivational phrases, but it is definitely still impossible to microwave or put these in the dishwasher or oven. Thanks and hope this helps!

Very Cute, Great for Decorative Use, Not Practical
Before writing this I wanted to see what others have said because I was thinking the same. While these bowls are very cute they just are not practical. The restrictions on how they can be used make them just something to use for cold products that you could easily wash after (fruits, cheese, cereal, etc.). I wouldn't dare use them for a hot dish. The lids snap on snugly but again I wouldn't try to travel with them as they don't fully seal tightly to keep a liquid of any kind from seeping out. If you're in the market for a couple of small decorative bowls then these will be your goal.

Cute but pricey and impractical for me
These are cute bowls. They look nicer than your typical leftover storage containers, and I love the bamboo lids. The lids stay on fairly well, but not as well as plastic snap ones if you drop the container (plus, these will crack). They can't be frozen, microwaved, or cleaned in the dishwasher, which is a little annoying (I at least would expect to have been able to microwave something in them...I just assumed the inability to put them in the dishwasher was related to the pattern being removed, as some dishes have that issue). Due to their small size and restrictions on cleaning and heating, I have been using these as bowls to hold items on the table rather than as storage per se. For example, I use them to hold lettuce, cheese and other (cold) toppings for taco night. They're cute enough to go on the table, and then I just put the lid on and pop any leftovers in the fridge. Lettuce stays crisper than it does in plastic, and I can get them back out and set them right back on the table for the next meal. There's less possibility of them staining this way, as I think they might from a sauce. They're great for this, but I wouldn't spend $40 for two bowls I can't throw in the dishwasher for this purpose. As others have pointed out, they don't even include cute Kate Spade packaging (just a paper sleeve around them), so they're not really very giftable (I have loved giving KS items as gifts in the past... they're always packaged cutely and well-received; the polka-dot plates are always a hit!). While I like the lids of these, I probably wouldn't order another set because my storage space, and their uses, are too limited.

Cute Bowls
These Kate Spade bowls are cute with a floral design. The lid is wood and the bowl feels like resin or melamine. There's a silicone seal around the base of the lid to close it and keep it sealed. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable putting wet food in these, but something dry would work better. They are very nice, though, and can be used to store or organize all kinds of things.

Very cute. Very impractical.
These bowls will be great decor items for your kitchen, dining, or craft room. In terms of using them for actual food - not so much. They have to be handwashed, which I expected for the lids but not for the bowls. They can't go in the microwave, or really anywhere else. Using them as intended for storing food or bringing your lunch would lead to a lot of hand dishwashing and wasted water. I'll enjoy looking at them but using them - not so much.

Cute But Almost Useless
I can't imagine what made Lenox and Kate Spade (two awesome brands) make this clunker of a lunch set. It's cute, but that's the only positive thing about it. You can't microwave in it, so forget heating up your lunch. The tops are bamboo, with a seal that's not nearly secure enough for anything messy. You can't put any part of this in the dishwasher (or freezer), so have fun hand washing. Worst of all, I can't find any - zero - information about what the bowls themselves are made of? Some sort of weird plastic or melamine would be my guess, but the inside is slightly pebbled or textured, so it's going to hold on to stains, colors, and odors. I wanted to love this, but seriously, what "lunch" could you take in these?
