This British bra has a band that is fitted and sturdy but does not feel pressurized; it can be worn all day without a thought. Many reviewers here do not like the resolute separation of the breasts this bra provides. The only other bra it comes close to in comfort isWacoal Women's Everyday Full Figure Softcup Bra #85226 , which let's face it, looks like a medical dressing for those women not to be trusted with the terrible weaponry of their enormous breasts! So take heart women! You can have shape and uplift, comfort and construct! And, contrary to what some other reviewers wrote of, the textured surface of the cups , if fitted properly, smooth out under even thin cotton shirts. The winner!
