DEFINITELY worth the price of admission!
This toy is FANTASTIC!!!!! I recently bought my second one on Amazon because I couldn't locate the first one I bought. Of course, I found the original toy within 10 minutes of placing my order for the second one even though I'd spent 4 days looking for the first one. This toy is TOUGH!!!!! I cannot stress that enough. It's hard thick rubber and well worth the price. The first one I bought still has its noise maker inside. But for some reason, the noise maker got loosened on the second replacement toy. It fell inside - almost like the rubber juncture between toy body and squeaker ruptured or something because there's no way a dog's teeth could cause that. No problem, though - I reached inside the toy and grabbed the loose squeaker with a pair of needle nose pliers and removed it. My dog LOVES this toy! The second one that is. She shares it with everyone who comes in my house. Almost like an offering. She plays tug-of-war with it, and she pounces on it like she's killing it, then shakes her head from side to side with her "kill" in her mouth. Growling some of the time. My dog is very animated, but honestly - this toy makes her antics hilarious. I would definitely buy this toy again. Don't buy the cheap vinyl crap from pet stores if you have a chewing dog. My German Shepherd Dog only chews Nylabones and her toys. And this keeps her occupied for hours. This toy is more expensive than the vinyl stuff, but worth every penny because it will be a long time before you have to replace it.

Not durable
This toy didn’t last more than a couple of days. The feet were easily chewed off and the squeaker was destroyed. The dogs loved it but it didn’t last

My dogs' favorite toy
This is not the first time I've bought one of these. My dogs love them and they hold up very well, even with heavy abuse. My dogs are serious chewers. I wish it wasn't squeaky, though, because the hole for the squeaker gives them something to gnaw on and, every time, they get the squeaker out, leaving a big hole. Which they enlarge until it has to be thrown out. It takes a while, but if it weren't there, it wouldn't happen. The only other thing that needs to be changed...the feet. The dogs chew them off, leaving little pieces of rubber all over. Before they get them all the way off, if you throw it, the feet cause it to go wherever it wants, not where you want it to go. We cut the feet off now. Leaving them off altogether would be great.

Great for a very aggressive chewer
Our German Shepherd is a very aggressive chewer and has usually never managed to have a toy for more than three days before destroying it. This toy is perfect for him, and so far has lasted three months. We cut the feet off as soon as we got it and he did punch the squeaker through into the body of the ball within a week, but otherwise this has been perfect. We got the large size for our 88lb dog and it is big enough that he has to work to hold it in his mouth, which is great. The surface is totally smooth which means that a) there are no little nubs for him to rip from (I made sure the feet cuts were flush when I removed them) and b) he can't get a good grip because of the size and smoothness. This means he plays with it for HOURS. He loves this toy like none of the others, carries it everywhere and babies it. He can play by himself or with others with it. Even though the squeaker fell inside it, the rattle it makes actually works really well for him as a sound as is considerably less annoying than the squeaker was originally! Thoroughly recommended for dogs that destroy everything else

Durable toy for a destructive beast.
Being a Rottweiler it's tough to find toys that hold up to my over sized mouth and excessive chewing, but these seem to work well both for my master and me. If I'm allowed I usually chew the feet right off these guys in a matter of minutes, but usually my owner just cuts them off with a pair of scissors when he sees what I'm up to. If I can, I like to eat pieces of the feet so my poops have some nice color to them later on, this stuff passes through really well. The squeaker usually comes free of it's location within a few hours of really working at it, then rattles around inside for a while, makes it more like a rattle at that point. Eventually I work the squeaker out, but it's decent sized and hard plastic, don't feel like passing that one, so I leave it on the floor for my owner to step on with bare feet, I don't have legos, but this is the next best thing. Once the feet are gone and the squeaker is out, this thing is great. Perfect size for me, great rubber compound stays springy and is really hard to rip, makes for one of my best toys and I also just like to chew on it like bubble gum, helps with my anxiety.....Squirrel!!!!.....

Cut off legs, then you have a tough ball
Pit bull and shepherd mix tested. Cut off the legs so the dogs don't eat them (they're far from durable) and you have a tough ball.

Dog tired dog (and a bust squeaker!)
My demon... sorry... my DOG is something of a toy destroying beast. The only toys which seem to survive are the Kong and Tuff toys, but I wanted a squeaky ball for her. This is great so far and is now being squeaked and slobbered on repeatedly, and is standing up to her toughest onslaught! The squeak is not too loud, but it is still annoying lol I got the large for my big lurcher cross so for big dogs (labs etc) this is great value and a great toy :) *edit* After a rather fierce attack the squeaker died. The rubber round the squeaker had split and this led to the large squeaker being stuck inside the toy. It is well in and won't come out, but is a valuable reminder NOT to leave dogs unattended with toys. I was watching my dog and was able to take the toy off her to ensure the squeak was safely inside the toy and no danger to the dog. Still love the toy, but needs supervision like all toys.

an absolute godsend (for large breeds)
Absolutely delighted with this. My male weimaraner adores squeaky toys but they normally have a life expectancy of o.....5 minutes maximum. Arrived really quickly (the only thing I would say is that you don't get a choice on the colour and he looks a bit stupid with a bright pink ball wedged in his mouth). Larger than I expected - which is probably a good thing in that he can't chew it properly. Very very thick rubber which means even though his teeth sink into it, they don't go through and compromise the squeakiness. Bounces well but because of the weight, make sure any Fabergé eggs are out the way (not that that's a problem in our house)! Its Solo's new favourite thing and won't go anywhere without it and his location is always given away by the high pitched squealing My advice, buy one, test it out and then go buy several. Nb. Its almost too big for my very large weim, so if in doubt, go for the medium

Really hard wearing, recommend for dogs that are tough on theor toys :)
We've had one of these before, and still have it and its really hard wearing, we 've had it since Christmas and its looks good as new, even though our dog is really hard on his toys. So I have bought a stock of these because they are so good. this is my dogs favourite toy. They do squeak. I wpould call them the Duracell of dog toys :)

excellent for a big dog
Bounce extremely well, squeak doesn't last too long but my dog has a very strong mouth. Very strong rubber ball, good colours. Would bounce more predictably without the feet on it but I buy these on a regular basis because they are so good

Lightweight
I bought this for my 19mth old mutt. He's a heavy chewer and suffice to say it didn't stay the distance - squeak gone in about 24hrs and legs swiftly followed - and that was with only short bursts of play. However around half the body is still in his toybox and he does still play and chew that, so it sort of redeems itself!
