Lavare solo a mano. Non immergere in acqua e asciugare subito dopo il lavaggio. Oliare frequentemente utilizzando un olio idoneo per uso alimentare.

Needs to be more durable
I love the ergonomics of this rolling pin. However it broke last night while I was rolling out pizza dough.

New design
I quiet surprised to see this new design rolling pin ,I have new experience with it I use rolling pin everyday to roll my chapati it’s kind small potion of dough roll into round like Spanish tortilla but with whole wheat flour .So for its working effortlessly without putting too much pressure with my hands. Nice rolling pin

Fantastic rolling pin!
I have arthritis in my hands and using a traditional handled rolling pin is just a drag. This is fantastic, comfortable, and provides me with better control with dough thickness and shape.

Very disappointing - Broke twice
After 3 times I have used it, the handle just broke in my hands. Rolling Pin was replaced by Joseph Joseph, just to brake again after a few uses. Not gonna bother to ask for another one.

A rolling pin should, well, roll. This one does not.
I've had a very nice ergonomic handled rolling for many years and loved it, and wanted to replace it with something comparable when it broke. This is not that replacement: the wood surface is coarse and poorly sanded. The roller is so stiff that it will not roll... rather defeating the purpose. Short of sanding it myself, and trying to drench the interior with oil, it seem beyond rescue. Returned without even having a chance to use it, it was so obviously ill-fit to its purpose.

Broke with second use
I really loved this, it made our holiday cookies much easier to roll out. However, one of the hand grips completely snapped off the second time I used it. Great design- super comfortable. It just needs stronger material.

Not very strong!
I have bought two of these and both have broken! I haven't got a lot of strength, so it didn't take much for the handle to snap off! I won't be buying one again.

So much easier on the hands than traditional rolling pin.
Sturdy and much easier on the hands as you just hold the handles and push.

So much easier on weak wrists
This rolling pin arrived simply packed and in perfect condition. Over excited about a rolling pin? Absolutely! This looks good as soon as you unwrap it. Joseph Joseph are known for quality and this is a great example. The wood is beautiful, everything looks sleek, feels smooth and is very well made. But it's those cleverly designed handles that are the winners. I have damaged hands and don't do much rolling but I think I will be able to do more from now on. These ergonomic handles really do make a difference. I don't seem to need to press down, and my wrists feel at a more natural angle. If in doubt try for yourselves, it may sound gimmicky but it genuinely works. The only bit I am not 100% convinced by is that the pin will never roll off the work top but that's unimportant to me. Care instructions are on the packaging so don't throw it straight out. Definitely recommend. Currently priced at £22 which isn't cheap but you get what you pay for here. Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.

Video demonstration
The media could not be loaded. The Joseph Joseph 40108 rolling pin is very easy to use with its easy grip handles. When you are gripping the handles you don’t have to worry about repositioning your hands or bashing your knuckles, As your hands can stay in one position and let the rolling pin do all of the work. The rolling pin is a nice weight and feels sturdy in its construction. My mum absolutely loves this rolling pin, Because how easy it is to use. I hope you have found my video and written review helpful.

Makes for less strain on the hands
Over the years I have owned many rolling pins from marble ( very heavy) to glass ( very fragile) and many types of wooden ones along the way. Funnily enough I always tend to go back to my old thin pound shop one as it is light, wide enough and easy to store. So I thought I may as well try this one to see if Joseph Joseph could improve upon an old design. First off I noticed that the wood was close grained and good quality and with a sheen which makes pastry less likely to stick. I then lifted it up to test the weight, well a bit heavy but not too bad. So I then put it to use rolling pastry. First off it's got ergonomic handles which are just the right shape and allow you to simply push whilst the roller goes off and does it's thing. No sticking in my test , although I enjoyed an adequate dusting of flour. In fact it was incredibly easy to use and if you had a lot to do it would certainly not cause so much hand fatigue as a regular rolling pin. If I had to make one tiny critique I was say that personally I would have liked it a little longer. All in all a great rolling pin and worth the money.
