Doesn’t fit Britax

Great quality, but a little snug clicked in

These adapters are fantastic for the stroller, however they are a bit of a pain to snap in with the car seat. I just ended up returning them today because we’ve had to get a new car seat and decided against a maxi cosi , we purchased a Graco instead. I wish this type of attachment was available for the Graco car seats and this stroller. I’m just waiting until the Graco is back in stock to order that one instead.

The Nuna reviews are right

From what I read for the Nuna Pipa these adapters aren't the easiest to use. Apparently for Cybex and Maxi Cosi they work much better. But this is the stroller we have and we need them regardless of if they work really well. We tried them out and understand what everyone is saying. It is hard to get the car seat out. We think we may have found a little bit easier of a way to go about it. If you click the button on either side of the car seat, one at a time, then grab the car seat near the base of the handle and pull hard, it comes out a bit easier. Still have to use force and not smooth but easier than trying to do it all in one motion. You shouldn't have to do all this. You should be able to easily install and uninstall the car seat from the stroller but until they come out with a better version, they're necessary.

Works great for my Britax B safe car seat

I think people are disconnecting these incorrectly and that’s why there’s bad reviews. You don’t push the button to unlatch the car seat like you would in the car, you push the button on each side of the converter to get the car seat out and then if you need the converters off you push the unlatch button on the car seat and they fall right off.

Easy install and setup. Love this stroller already!

Easiest setup and install yet out of all the baby gear I've had to setup for my expecting twins! This entire stroller setup has been easy breezy and I love it so much already! I can't wait to use it for when my boys come. They will both be in a Chicco Keyfit 30 and it snaps in so easily to the adapters. We really didn't even need directions (though I always look them over) it was so simple.

Nuna Pipa Adapter for Joovy works fine; meant to remain attached to car seat

Despite the reviews, I decided to get it anyway. The adapter is meant to stay attached to the car seat. (Like how it appears on the Joovy tote). It does not affect the car seat attaching to its base in your vehicle. So once you’re no longer using the car seat with the Qool, you can remove the adapters (with some force needed.) The car seat detaches just fine when knowing you’re only meant to remove the seat and that the adapters stay with the seat, and not the stroller. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 is because with the post adapter versus ring adapter (as provided for other car seat brands) when the car seat is in the top position you can only have the bottom stroller seat in the parent-facing position, not outwards.

DOES NOT FIT MAXI COSI

One side of the adapter does NOT click into the maxi cosi car seat (gets stuck before the adapters can click into place). Sure you can still put the car seat on top regardless, but it's not safe and very hard to lift the car seat out afterward. I had to really wiggle the car seat for the defective side to slide out (without the baby inside, I can't imagine shaking the car seat with baby inside). Thinking it might be a problem with the car seat, I tried it on a different maxi cosi car seat at the store, and then at my friend's house, but it's always the same side that's giving me issues... I got a replacement sets of adapters, and it has the exact same issue - same side that does not click into the car seat. Replacement product took a while to arrive as well. Very disappointed with Joovy. I would have gotten another stroller and perhaps car seat if I knew it was so incompatible. Returning the stroller + adapter + car seat is really troublesome so that's why we decide to just keep it as it is. We tried to shave off the problematic side so it fits better. It clicks into the car seat after our modification, but still have to really wiggle the car seat to take it out. At least we can use the stroller without car seat at six month.

Meh...

These are just okay... As previously mentioned you leave the adapter attached to the actual carseat to remove the carseat from the frame. We have had no issues there. However, I noticed when placing my carseat (with the adapters still attached) onto my cabinet that the adapters are not even & one is slightly taller resulting in it looking uneven at all times. Something I dislike is that the adapter itself doesn't actually lock onto the carseat it's just clicking when engaged but it is not securely locked if that makes sense? They're about worth what I paid ($22.95) but if I would have ordered the more expensive Britax adapters to fit my other carseat I would have been very pissed to have paid double this! Overall there's not much choice, in order to use the Joovy frame for a newborn baby you have to purchase an adapter for your carseat.

Adapters don't fit on one side

Like previous reviewer had mentioned, the one side of the adapter is very hard to slide in and out. The car seat on the one side doesn't even click in. I had to buy two, as I am expecting twins. I am very glad I tried this out before my twins arrive. I modified the one side of the clip by shaving the plastic down with an exacto knife and then used a rotary sander to smooth the surface. It took me many attempts of this before I finally got both adapters to fit the car seat. Very annoyed that I had to do this. I may attempt to shave a bit more off to make the it a smoother release. I didn't know what else to do. Seemed like more of hassle to return both car seats or try and return the stroller and all the adapters/ extra seats I bought.
