Ankle straps are stylish and functional

The shoe bed is hard, the toe box is shallow, there is no arch support or cushion. I would not walk distances. However, the criss cross strap does keep the flat from slipping off heal and adds support which I like. They fit true to size. If between half sizes, order up. Cute with a dress or slacks, especially for a few hours.

Wish they were leather

These shoes are beautifully styled. I wish they were made of real leather. Fit is accurate.

Cute! But I Give It a 3 Because...

I have short toes. Know that the cut of this shoe on top where your toes slip in is very deep. It really is not pretty to see the tops of one's toes, and in my opinion they should be covered completely. These shoes look like my ballet pointe shoes and is so cute in that regard! Love the squared toe, but even pointe shoes come up farther and cover the toes on top. They are fun and my husband laughed! I would buy more, in other colors (if available) except for the cost-saving in not creating these with enough construction material -- especially for the higher price they command.

Cute and comfortable.

Fits well out of the box but feels slightly tighter than the blue, but not massively so; this should remedy with wearing. I usually take a size 6.5B/M, occasionally a 7B/M and these are comfortable and fit like size 6.5 M. Be warned that if you feel uncomfortable with toe cleavage showing, there is a bit of that. It is relatively low cut on the sides so if there are any joint bumps that you would rather not expose on older feet this type of cut may show them. I plan on wearing them with stockings or thin tights and both types of hose will cover and smooth the look of foot configurations and nude hose just plain looks better rather than bare legs. I am a teacher and am on my feet a lot on hard floors and am finding some of the current heel heights push the weight onto the ball of the foot making it painful to wear them for long periods so these will give my feet a break and can be used partway through the day to give my feet a rest and I will definitely need to wear hose to look professional and well groomed and make sure that my feet don't feel glued into my shoes at the end of the day.

Absolutely WONDERFUL!

When I saw these on Amazon, I fell in love. I was completely skeptical after reading the reviews so I did order the Kenneth Cole version as well. Boy, am I glad a gave them a try! After trying these on, I am so happy I took the "risk" in buying them! They are my new favorite shoes and I plan to get the other colors soon. The Mandalaye actually fit way better than the Kenneth Cole. I wear between a 6.5 and 7 (always 7 in Nine West) so I just got the 6.5. They fit as if they were custom made for my feet. I've worn them both barefoot and also with tights and both feel great. Excellent padding and the strap is snug but not too tight. I have somewhat narrow feet and these are just the right fit. I had no problems slipping into the straps and actually found the Kenneth Cole more cumbersome to put on. Overall, just a beautiful flat with more interest than just the average ballet flat.

I am ultra-happy with these shoes!

The design of these shoes is absolutely divine! I wasn't sure how I would feel about them, because they are so different from any style I've worn before. I just love how they look like ballet shoes on. The comfort level is amazing! I wore them for the first time to a dinner-dance. They are so comfortable that I felt like I was wearing bedroom slippers. So light weight and soft! I can't wait to get them in another color. Totally recommended if you are looking for something ultra comfortable, cute and sophisticated.

Cute but too narrow

Cute shoe but not made for wider feet. I even sized up when I bought them and they were still too tight in the toe.

people stop me on the street

okay so this shoe..,i originally saw at dillards for 69 in the natural pink color. i just couldnt fully wrap my head aorund that one, but the black i knew i could do. decided to see what other people had to say about the shoe so came home jumped on internet . people love the nude color. and most dont like the fact that the toes kinda shoe. some thought they should order a half size bigger. so i did. went with the black..got it in two days with prime shipping. i ordered a 6.5 but i wear a six. my daughter also loved the shoe and she wears a 6.5 it fits perfectly. on me, it fits with a little gaping but it helps that the straps are nice and firm. the shoe is easy to put on and take off. the insoles are memory foam and feel great. i have these shoes in leopard combo and cheetah black and grey. i love them and people love them too. very fun. i wear with leggings, jeans... love them to death,

Not as cute on as I thought

Fits a little small. The soles are super comfy however the back ankle part gives me blisters!
