Socks are great but Amazon dropped the ball.

I ordered these socks for my fourth child. These are by far my favorite socks for a baby. They stay on! It is really hard to find baby socks that actually stay on their feet. However, when I went back to purchase another set of the 0-9 month plus the 9-18 month size for when he got bigger I realized Amazon had sent me the 9-18 month size (mislabeled)first, which fit my son as a newborn. I received the 0-9 month size and upon opening them they were the tiniest socks I've ever seen! The other set marked 9-18 month were the same size as what I had originally ordered. I decided instead of going to the hassle of a return that I should just pass on the tiny 0-9 month socks as doll socks or maybe to a premie baby. So disappointed with Amazon's mislabeling of this product. I do recommend these socks in 9-18 month size for newborns. I just wish there was really a 9-18 months size that would fit a 9-18 month old baby!

Stretchy and cute

I purchased these and then read the reviews. I got a little nervous because others said they were small. When I got them I thought they were right, but I decided to give them a try anyway and washed them. My baby has been home a few days now and I just tried them. He was 11 pounds at birth and has large feet even for his size!!! But these socks are actually quite stretchy. They fit his feet just fine and look very cute, he even has room to grow. The description does say they fit 0-9 months. I don't think they will fit my baby nearly that long, but that's okay. They are a bootie style that looks darling on a newborn, but as he gets older they might look a little girly. My guess is that the others guessed they were too small just by looking at them. Once I opened them and stuck my thumbs in and stretched them out I realized they are plenty big.

Socks that stay on but smaller than advertised size

Agree with previous reviews Have an 8.5 month old. The socks DO stay which is a HUGE PLUS, but the advertised sizing is way off. They are too small. They are a little "girly" in appearance with the round circles but if they stay on that is more important to me. Will get one wear out of each pair before they are washed and then done b/c they are too small. Will try the next size up and see if any better. Only other complaint is in the packaging - there are 2 plastic ties in each pair with very little room to cut so lots of little plastic pieces to make sure you pull out of the sock so they don't wind up in baby's mouth and have to be uber careful not to cut the sock when trying to cut the plastic tie.

Nice Socks

Amazon labels these socks as 0-9 months, however the actual package says 'Newborn, Shoe Size 0-1'. I think the socks are meant for babies around 0--3 months. This works out okay for me because I am buying them for my baby to use as a newborn. I bought these socks for my second child because I used them with my first child and they were the only ones that would stay on her feet. I like that they match every outfit and are not too thick and warm. They are also made in the USA.

good socks

The socks are great and actually stay on my baby's feet. The sizing is off for my baby. The 0-9 month old socks didn't even come close to fitting him. He is 6 weeks old an wearing the 9-18 month old size. It will be interesting to see how long he can stay in these over the next couple of months.

they look comfy and she keeps them on

These socks do not fall off as much as my baby's socks usually do. She has to work to pull them off. In my mind, that is a plus. I doubt they will fit her all the way up to 18 months, but maybe she just has big feet. In any case, these socks are worth the price.

Best socks ever!

Best stay on baby socks ever! I used this socks 43 years ago on our first son. Still using them today for grand babies!!!!!
