Comfortable, Durable, High-Quality, but they do run large

PROS: Very thick, cushy, comfortable socks, easy to put on, stay in place well. We've had no problem fitting them into shoes. They have held up extremely well to toddler wear & tear, daily use, and hundreds of laundry cycles. No other socks I've encountered even come close to these in comfort and quality. We're so used to these, I now feel bad when it's laundry day and my son has to wear some thin, scratchy pair from the back of the sock drawer. I would give them FIVE STARS for comfort and quality considered alone. CONS: They really do run quite large. I ordered the first set (3-12 mo., shoe size 1-4) when my son was just 3 months old and they looked HUGE compared to the socks he fit in at the time. They looked so big, I asked Amazon for a refund -- which they gave me without requiring a return. So I hung on to the socks thinking he could wear them when he started kindergarten (hey, free socks), but, like many new parents, I underestimated how quickly little feet can grow. We only had to wait a year or so until the socks started to fit, at about shoe size 5. He's now growing into size 7 and the socks still fit great. I'm writing this review on the occasion of purchasing a second set because 6 pairs are just not enough! BOTTOM LINE: These are truly fantastic socks, just order a size down and don't be surprised if even the smallest size doesn't fit a newborn.

Bit big but I'm buying again

Like other reviews have said, the socks are much bigger than you would expect. I ordered the 3 to 6 thinking that meant 3 to 6 months. When I receive them, the tag said they are for toddler shoe sizes 3 to 7, so it's toddler shoe sizes, not sizes based on baby age. However, I have found that the socks stay on better than most socks and I don't have to worry about finding a match. He has other socks with ribbed cuffs in his size, but they always leave marks on his little ankles and these socks don't. I got these when he was four months and I would just fold the cuff down and they look ok. Now that he's five months, he just wears them like normal and there's a little bit extra room in the toe. These are also sicker than most baby socks so they are very warm for the winter. I'm buying a couple more sets right now.

Great socks, run big

I really like these socks but they run big. My kiddo is in a size 5 shoes so I ordered the 12-24 months, which were WAY to big. Got the smaller size (6-12 months) and they fit much better. The socks are really nice: good reinforced toe, soft breathable cotton, stay up, don't stretch out. I would give 5 stars if the sizing worked better for me, but at least she can grow into the others ;).

Great Socks

These socks are great. They're nice and thick, and stay on very well. I am so glad we purchased them for my son! The only reason I chose to give 4 stars instead of 5 is they pill like crazy. After the first wear and wash, they had major pilling. That said, even though they look worn, they function great and it will be a very long time before they wear through due to the thickness.

Great socks! Size down.

These socks are great! I agree with others that these run big because they are so stretchy. My son is 19 lbs and wears a size 2 shoe. The smallest size for age 0-3 months fits him very well.

Good quality

The 3-12 mos are still a bit big still for my 4-month-old, but these socks stay on him just fine. I fold down the cuffs, otherwise they leave ridges on his ankles (he's not bothered by them at all). I'm a bit concerned they actually won't make it until he's a year old (he does seem to have really big feet though). They are high-quality socks though - no pilling and they've lasted through several washes already. Will buy the next size up when he needs them!

Soft, warm, and fit great

I bought these for my 4 month old because she was outgrowing all of her cute tiny socks and I was tired of them falling off. These are great. They soft and thick, but best of all they stay on. She's a tiny one, at just 13.5lbs, so I fold the top down, but they still stay on her even when she tugs on them and tries to pull them off. Plus it seems like they'll stretch as she grows, so I expect they'll last quite a while. I love that they're plain white, too. It's annoying trying to match multicolored striped/polka dotted socks with whatever outfit she's wearing for the day. I know they're cute, but white socks are just so much more practical. I'd definitely recommend these.

Good for kids with big(ger) feet

My kid has big feet. I'll admit it. It's nothing to be ashamed of; she'll make a good swimmer. As such, these socks worked just fine for her at 4 months old. They are a little large, but nothing causes problems. The elastic around the top is pretty tight. As others have mentioned, it will leave a "mark" around your kid's ankle (they're just pressure indentations). The socks that I wear do the same thing, and it doesn't bother me. It, evidently, doesn't bother my kid either. The socks definitely stay put; I've never had them fall off like some others.

All matching socks rules!

These a perfect! Stay on, don't make my baby fall, and seriously : buying all identical socks is so underrated. Makes laundry so much easier and no more throwing away socks 'cause you lost the twin. Love these (i bought a size under after reading reviews and they fit perfect)
