Who knew you could be impressed by a sock!

Quality & Comfort at a Reasonable Price. I am very impressed with these little socks - everything from the type of material used, quality of how they are put together and the durability. Ordered my first package several years ago and they have held up well with daily wear. The photo is a pic of the sock after two-years of daily wear. Wear these with my motorcycle riding boots which I pretty much wear every day. They rise just slightly higher than the top of my boot which is exactly what I want in a sock! I am a female that wears a size 8-8.5 boot and have found these medium size boy's socks to be a perfect fit for my needs. Side note - I do not have massive, bulky calves so this size works well for me. PROS MATERIAL: Soft, supple and comfortable on the skin and allows skin to breath much like cotton. Doesn't have that slick nylon/polyester feel that has a suffocating sensation on my skin and makes my feet sweat. Also, the material has very little piling, doesn’t unravel or get thread worn even after continual use and repeated washings. NO SEAM: The no seam across the top of toes is always a plus, especially when you are toe shifting on the motorcycle. You also don't have that rubbing on your toes creating irritation when you walk or getting twisted underfoot and feeling it with every step which is annoying. STRETCH: Has a great stretch with longevity in wear without that nylon, plasticky feel. Socks don't fall down on your calves. The extra support in the arch is also a BIG PLUS. Helps with plantar fasciitis. The stretch even holds up after months to years of wears and washings. PRICE: The price point is in line with the product and an even better value compared to competitors. CONS I have yet to find any and don't expect to unless the company changes manufacturer’s, lessen the quality of materials or jacks the price up. Thank you, Jefferies Socks. Please keep up the standards of excellence that have built this positive and reputable brand. Yay!

Too small

Wow these run small. They look like they’d cut off my son’s circulation. Unfortunately I had to buy some Adidas black socks right away to replace these, and luckily the Adidas were true to size. Will not buy this brand again.

Woman Size 6 -- recently reordered 2019 -- formerly 5 stars

Update 2019 *** These boy's socks are not the same. They are definitely bigger in the foot and calf thus fit my foot more lose. My previous orders from 2015 and 2017 were constructed a smaller size and today still fit perfectly because of the awesome stretchability. After all this time they are still good but faded and a few are beginning to lose the retraction on the calf. Don't get me wrong, the 12 old pairs still hold up and I use them almost daily. I wish I bought more back then. I gave the new ones away - glad I didn't get rid of the old ones. Fit a women size 6, the best I tested! Below is my old review I wear a women shoe size 6 wide and never like the price and fit of women's socks. Bought Jefferies, Nike socks, Timberland women's, and Wigwam women's (See pic below Jeffries at the top) Jefferies were the best for the buck and feel. All the sock brands appear same thickness for the foot, others had a fancier weave or style but the Jefferies sock is more comfortable for me. Seam around the toes is invisible, can't feel, yeah! Stretch and retraction is still amazing after three washes. Snugness is perfect, as good as the more expensive brands and Jefferies doesn't cut into my calf, perhaps because these reside lower. I think these could easily fit women's shoe size 5 to 7 but I'm really not sure about smaller or larger foot, lots of stretch. Was surprised thickness is comparable to the more expensive socks, but these are smaller as you can see in picture, doubt anyone will notice. Time will tell how long they last, kids usually wear-out or out-grow their socks.

High cotton content and green quality

These are beautiful socks and perfect for my son who is allergic to synthetic socks. Awesome quality and very well made and thick. The only problem it that they fit a bit tight… I got the size large, which is supposedly for size 10-adult, and they’re not large enough. My son is 7yrs old with a size 4 feet (big boy size). I still like the socks so I returned to get xl size instead.

Spend The Extra Money For These!

Jefferies is becoming famous among my family and extended family for socks that last! From their women's knee socks, to thinner children's school/church socks, to these thick crew socks, we've had incredible quality. I am pretty cheap when it comes to spending money, but I've learned with children's essentials to spend the extra and get good quality. I bought these in 2015 for my son who was shoe size 8 at the time. Currently he is in size 10 and they are still going! They fit shoe size 10 perfectly and I'm guessing by the stretch that they will fit size 11 as well. I've been putting them on another son who is now shoe size 8 over the winter so they are getting double the use. They are definitely large for size 8 shoe but I guess my sons weren't picky because they never fussed. Slight signs of wear and tear at the heels or toes, which is where my socks usually wear out first. I wanted a thick sock for everyday use and bought other thinner varieties of Jefferies socks for church use. They are definitely too thick and warm to wear over the summer, but we loved them to keep feet warm in the winter. They still fit into their regular sneaker/boot size. I also bought these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003VWCSNG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_29 for a white option. They seemed to be the exact same thing just in a white/grey option. The white ones did wear out faster than the black ones though and won't last another winter, while these black ones will.

No seamless

Although the seams are lesser than most socks they are NOT seamless and therefore miss represented in the title.

A game changer

These socks fit as expected. They have eliminated all of the sock fights I had with my eight year old about his socks being unconformable. Definitely worth the money.

Fit size 3 shoe skinny legged daughter perfectly as an almost knee sock

Socks seem well made and absolutely lack the annoying toe seam some kids seem to HATE. Solid colour vs patterned is appreciated!! May be snug on thick calves but perfect on my skinny legged size youth 3 shoe - 10yr old girl. They are almost up to her knee and fold down nicely. She is incredibly SOCK PICKY and said these socks were awesome.
