Tight but they loosen!

These are such adorable little pants. I didn’t even realize they were Amazon brand (not knocking it, I actually love the Basics brand). My kid is naturally slim. When I put them on my daughter I was initially in the uh oh state of mind, because they looked like they might be -too- slim. But nope, my daughter rocked em and was like, “These won’t fall down!” Now excuse me while I go buy five more pairs.

Not the same size 10

I bought these for my daughter who is right in between a size 8 and a size 10. She has been able to fit into size 10s with no problem, but these were too small for her. I am returning them and will try to buy a bigger pair to see if they fit. I gave them 4 stars because they are good pants and there was no issue with the quality; the sizing is just off.

Tiny ass pockets. WHY?????

Got both darkest blue and next lightest wash and am very happy with the colour. As denim should be. Not that strange dirty black-blue or that obnoxiously brilliant blue-blue hue. Perfect. The fabric has stretch but is not overly thin. Not ruggedly thick either. The length on size 14 for my 5’1’ petite 105 lb proportionate frame (not long or short in torso or legs) is perfect, which is super hard to find as any short person will tell you. There is an adjustable button band at the inside of each hip if you’re looking for room to grow on a kid or are just more slender but need the length you can tighten down to still stay up. Huge Con- TINY pockets. TINY. Why??? These are perfect in every way except these silly ass minutely tiny pockets. If Amazon Basics is thinking girls don’t use their pockets for anything they’re delusional. WHO doesn’t use their pockets? And it just looks silly and ridiculous IMO.

Not too short for this skinny tall girl!

Finally a pair of jeans for my 11yo that are long enough and don’t fall off her bum. Great adjustable waistband.

Very Impressed!

This was my first time buying an Amazon Basics clothing item and I have to say how impressed I am with the quality of these jeans. I will buy some in my size now. I am a sewer so I look at the details from the bottom hem to the stitching around the waste and belt line. These are very nice.

too short but seemed like a great pair of jeans

I really wish these would have fit my daughter. They fit great in the waist but were a couple inches too short. Will be returning and trying the next size up to see.

Come up big

Lovely quality but absolutely huge! Bought the age 14/15 for my 14 year old daughter. She is slim, (usually a uk size 6, 24" waiste) but other reviews had said they come up small and tight so I thought they would be fine. How wrong! They fall off her, and are even too loose for me and I'm size 8/10 uk, 9.5 stone and 5'4". Such a shame as they are a lovely colour and very soft. Returning I'm afraid.

my daughter has always been on the smaller side of clothes, she's 5 and a half but only started wearing age 5 recently but these didn't go up over her bum and its the first time something her size was too small. they are well made and decent fabric but just letting people know you're probably better going up a size

Great fit for narrow waists

Great fit for narrow waists, my 6 year old daughter has trouble with some cloths being baggy around the waist, these were perfect fit and cut for a girl With room to expand out he waist.
