Temporary Fix
The neck around my car radiator had a crack and antifreeze was spraying out. I sanded and cleaned the area with alcohol and applied a good amount of the product after thoroughly mixing. After 24 hours I was able to refill the radiator and drive the car. I noticed an occasional drop of fluid still coming from the area. Probably with another application it would seal completely. I wasn’t concerned about how long it would last because I was planning to replace the radiator the following day.

Permanent, yet flexible. Different from regular JB
Worked great. Dual tubes dispense evenly. Properly mixing and using is a snap. Stuff cures in minutes.

Good product but the reseal feature doesn't work too well.
This got the job done but when I went to use it again after 6-months, nada. I bought a couple more and then I clipped off the front of the old one and used what was left of that one. The product works great.

This product is absolutely amazing.
This product actually welded an aerator to my bathroom faucet. It is amazingly strong and will adhere to any surface. Let me warn you, whatever you use this on will be impossible to take a part. It is permanently welded forever! finally a product that does everything that it says, JB Weld.

Got the Job Done
J-B Weld 8272 MarineWeld Marine Epoxy solved a problem quickly and cheaply for me. I have a very old metal watering can that I wanted to actually use to water plants on my lanai but it always leaked at the joint where the neck connected to the main body. This wouldn't have mattered if it were outside but I didn't want water cascading down onto my tile flooring/rug. I tried duck tape, that's supposed to fix anything, right? Haha, well that didn't work so I did a little research and thought I would try this. I followed the directions exactly and did have to do it a couple of times but finally, now I can water my plants without any leaking. The color of the weld doesn't exactly match the can but I have come to terms with it! Mission accomplished!

Very strong epoxy on aluminum
I used the product on my boat to repair some small holes on the interior (not the hull). It worked perfectly. All JB Weld products are good and they have good customer service.

Didn’t last long.
Product is easy to use but it came off after two days. The finish is white and glossy. Looks good.

Worked as planned!
Great metal glue for blowen small engine blocks after a connecting rod popped out threw the side of the block. 2 days of making sure it is dry and hard and the engine runs like new again after 5 year of it sitting in the garage because the block has been discontiued. Good product to keep on Hand for when you need it. Next use for it will be putting my replacement rocker and cab corners on my Chevrolet Truck which works much better than welding and warping the panels for to mucn heat. New cars are being glued together in the same way with lesser types of glue than JB weld. Good product for all metals

does not work on all surfaces, smells awful but does work well on others.
I will explain what i bought it for, how it worked, or not, and what I mean by the smell..... I bought this to fix the loo seat onto the loo and it sort of worked... the loo seat is strange, unlike the usual nut/bolt to hold it onto the loo, it has a hexagonal plastic head with a thin body that goes through the fixing hole and a plastic bottom to stop it pulling through - all one piece. This hexagonal head then slots through a slot on the bottom of the loo seat and has a rubber suction foot which also works to stop the hexagonal head sliding out of the slot on the loo seat. with me so far... OK, SO I tried super gluing and all sorts before resorting to epoxy. having use epoxy before I wanted a waterproof one so that the loo seat could still be cleaned regularly. This product did not stick at all to the rubber foot, which I had decided needed fixing as it had split. This product did not stick at all to the ceramic base of the loo ( glossy surface) it set and popped right off. This product DID stick to the plastic hexagonal head and the inside of the slot on the loo seat ( plastic). so - the loo seat is attached a gain, and if the epoxy holds, I do not need to worry that the rubber foot being split will let the hexagonal head slip out, as it is firmly stuck in place ( for now) I am surprised that it did not stick to the rubber foot, I have used epoxy to stick rubber to glass before and it worked well, perhaps rubber to rubber does not create a good bond? and finally - the smell - oh the smell. Epoxy has always had a chemically smell and sometimes a slightly fishy smell, but this stuff has a really really strong and unpleasant mix of rotten fish and burnt hair - really bad, it took 2 days of having the bathroom windows open to get it out, although it was much less strong the second day, but fair warning - using it indoors is probably not what they had in mind for this stuff and you pay the smelly price for it. I hope this helps.
