Works great, no more losing my aux connection on the road
This fit my 2010 Toyota Corolla perfectly. This was the most reasonable price I could find, and it's reassuring to go through Amazon instead of a random auto parts website. Swapping the parts took all of 10 minutes, and I have a reliable Aux connection again! My Aux input had been disconnecting constantly while driving. You'd have to hold the plug at various angles while pressing the Aux button repeatedly, to see if it would finally recognize it, and then hope it would stay connected when you let go. I tried taking it apart and wedging a piece of cardboard to hold it tight (found some helpful youtube videos, and it did work for a month or two) but unless you have amazing soldering skills you just need to swap the part. For something that bothered me every single time I was in my car, it was totally worth spending the money to fix.

Good part once installed
Product works fine once installed but I want to warn potential buyers to carefully inspect product before installing. Didn't notice some of the plastic latches on the housing we're not holding and the front plate fell apart during the install, took an easy 15 minute install to 45 minutes of trying to fish out a tiny part from the bowels of my car! Compared to the stock jack this one is better in almost every aspect but after reading some reviews and noticing the same problem (minimal wear and tear/loose components) I wanted to let people know to perhaps explore other options or at the very least look over the part when you receive it.

Excellent product and works perfectly!
Very easy to install on my own. Took me about 15 minutes to do it. Watched a video on YouTube on how to replace it on your own and realized it would be easy to do. Excellent product!! it works like a charm and my Aux jack works perfectly now with ZERO hickups. Seems like a much sturdier grip on the jack too once you plug in your cord. When I first plugged in the cord, the sound seemed off but once I adjusted the plug, the sound coming out was strong and excellent. I have not had to touch it or mess with it since and it has been a good six weeks since I bought and installed it. Definitely a very happy customer so far and I highly recommend this if you own a Toyota or any car that uses the same fit.

Great replacement aux jack
My 09 Toyota Corolla aux jack began shorting out occasionally and eventually became unusable. It was short out when hitting a bump or moving the aux chord and cut back to the radio like it didn't recognize a chord being plugged into the input. I began researching replacements when I came across this item. It was super easy to install and I didn't have to pay someone else to do it. You should be able to just wiggle out the old aux jack from your dash, plug the wires into the back of the new jack and slide back into the dash. It was done in a matter of a couple minutes and the plug actually feels more secure than the original. Highly recommend if you need to fix a broken aux jack in your vehicle!

It's ok...
Had to make minor modifications to the casing to get it to fit in 2009 Toyota Corolla (the hole on the side was not big enough to latch and the prongs of the internal part were bent in so they would not secure into the casing...made the hole a little bigger and bent the prongs to secure). Not sure how long it will last but it seems to be working good.

Perfect for replacing broken unit in my 2009 RAV4
Had tons of connection issues with the original unit in my 2009 RAV4. Tried resoldering it but it wasn't reliable. Finally decided to get a replacement and it was well worth it. Very straight forward. Remove old one. Plug in new one. Good to go. If you're having issues with yours just replace it. Eventually paired this with a bluetooth adapter for perfect music setup.

Works great. Just received and installed. No problems. As a side note, i took apart the old one and found that where the jack is soldered to the small circuit board(several tabs), one of them was loose(solder was cracked). Added a little more solder to each for reinforcement and now i have a backup jack . Wish i had thought of this before. Oh well, i guess i was little more brave cause i already had the new one.

Don't waste your money.
I was so excited to get this in the mail, especially after an hour drive home from work of scanning the radio stations. However, my heart sank the second I installed it. Of course I would get one that's defective. It looked like it had some wear and tear on the edges already, but it did the exact same thing as my last port. The outlet didn't truly fit a standard aux cable, but I managed to get a connection anyway. I then lost connectivity the second I went over a small bump, which is exactly what happened with my original port. When I tried to get it to connect again, the audio was completely muffled. I'm so annoyed by this product. It gets 1 star for being easy to install. I would say find a good friend who can solder your original one, or go buy one from a more reliable source.

The casing of the product didn’t lock into place. When I tried to insert an aux cord, the front plate popped off.
