Very good quality.

Nice outlet for your raw or fresh water outlet on deck. It's fairly low profile but still stand slightly proud, of course, of the mounting surface vs flush as in the description, however, it is very low profile and nearly flush. The plastic insert is very heavy duty and with a 90 degree twist is locked in and ready to go. Use plenty of teflon tape and pipe sealer when assembling fittings to the back of it. A little pricy but worth it. It may be a little too long for some installations at about 6", then you need a fitting or two off the back, so check your space prior to purchasing. De-pressurize the line before removing the plastic fitting, not only does it make it easier to remove but it will also prevent you from getting soaked.

Just What I Needed!!!!

I used this product to replace a factory installed extended thru hull connection that extended out too far for my liking and the location of the fitting begged for it to be stepped on. Since taking delivery of my boat I have been looking for a solution to this problem which I found with this product. It's not hard to install, it's robust and fits my needs.

It works good

Pretty sweet, nearly dry disconnects and simple. Curious though, it’s difficult to find a replacement plastic fitting if the blue piece gets stripped which is likely if my wife monkeys with it. But it’s a must have for a clean look and simple stowage

Washdown hose with sealed deck!

I had been searching for a replacement for a deck mounted shower kit that did not seal and allowed water into the boat. The Jabsco unit is now flush mounted to the aft deck and is completely sealed. A standard garden hose screws into the quick disconnect and works great as a deck washdown hose and fresh water shower.

Great quick disconnect

Don't be fooled by the picture.... the socket in the lower part of the picture is the product! The socket in the upper part of the picture is not included in the package. It does come with one quick connect fitting that will screw onto a normal male garden hose fitting. The product is stout and heavy and I expect that once installed it will be able to accommodate the 70PSI pump that I am installing in line.

Easy and works great.

Great quality and easy to inatall. Love the convenience of the washdown connection at the bow and close to the anchor windlass. Looks good when not in use. Quality finish.

Convenient and works well, but overpriced for the quality

It works, and it's great to have. The cover is very flimsy and doesn't keep rain or spray out. I'm sure it'll be broken off at some point. The insert piece seems overly complex but not very sturdy. It could be easily broken off if left inserted. Overall, for the kind of money they're asking, I'd expect something much more ruggedly designed and of higher quality.
