Very high performance drill
I never write reviews, but I had to take a moment on this one. I bought the bit to drill 2 holes in a solid piece of granite over 4" deep each for mounting a house address. It was a piece of cake with my Makita hammer drill. I could actually see the drill advancing once it got in a 1/2 inch or so. I don't know how many holes it could have drilled, but the second was just as quick as the first.

Don't let the low-price fool you.
Wow! This drill bit is awesome. I had to punch a pilot hole through some 50+ year old 8x16x16 block, thus my need for an 18" drill bit. Parts of the blocks were back-filled with concrete, so I needed a bit that could handle the task. I didn't want to purchase an SDS-type drill motor and bit, and the mafia-type cost to rent from the local guys here would pay for a lower-priced SDS drill AND bit. I have a powerful hammer drill and knew it was up to the task, so I just needed a drill bit like this VY Classic. It worked. I punched through once, then went in at various angles to the side of the pilot hole. Luckily, the block I went through was not back-filled, but it was still well-aged cinderblock that had baked in the Florida sun for 50+ years. After widening the hole on both sides of the block, I inspected the drill bit, and it was dirty but not showing wear, cracks, damage, or scorching. The drill motor was hot and breathing hard, my back hurt and I was beat, but the drill bit seemed like it was bored (pun intended). In fact, the leading edges of the tip are barely scuffed. If you use it for what it's intended, then it's well worth the cost, folks. Don't let the low-price fool you, it's a keeper.

Avoid this drill bit.
If you’re drilling into hard concrete, this bit will not last long. After a half-dozen holes, the bit’s shank wore out and would hold. I also had to frequently stop to retighten the bit. Spend a few bucks more and used a bit that has a slotted, “squared-off” to enable it to easily lock into place.

Good value
It’s a concrete bit folks... it won’t stay sharp forever but if you need to knock some holes out and not pay name brand price it works just fine

Highly recommend
Honestly I thought it was cheap bit at first and wouldn't work . But was I wrong I put on a regular drill and it drilled through concrete like better.

Did as promised
I was surprised at how fast this bit cut through the cement. Perhaps it s because the job was on Month old as opposed to years old but the bit was fast and simple to use.
