Same size as my original.

I'm happy to say they were the same size as the original ones I needed to add to. However, the original ones were made in the '30s so the metal was definitely better. But these will do just nicely.

Beauty, form & function...

Very nice, super sturdy, great shape and design...sort of sexy. They give a high end look to a utilitarian hand rail. I could not find anything with this level of appeal at any of the box hardware stores, or on an internet search...odd. But they were here! Beauty, form and function. Highly recommend.

They picture the one with the fleur-de-lis style tip but you get the rounded one. Other than it works.

Just the thing

Good looking, sturdy, but not ridiculously expensive. What more could you want for hardware to upgrade your home from that hideous builders “brass“?

Just repainted and this makes such a classy appearance and difference from the old brass ones these replaced. VERY PLEASED!!!

Mixed up items.

I do feel a little bad rating the product so low - I'm sure it's great! ...if I ever received it. I ordered it and got the wrong item, I notified Amazon and exchanged. And got the wrong item again. I eventually gave up on getting this cool product and settled for the lesser I received. Check your packages early!

Sturdy and love the burnished colour

These were used for our large railing to the basement, and were easy to install and very sturdy.

Gave me the hand that I was after

Worked as expected, Rail seems sturdy and made the stairs safer. Simple to install once the infrastructure was established.

Does not fit railing installed on angle

Although these brackets were the same size as my 60 year old brackets, the arm does not rotate in the clamp. If the railing were straight I believe they would be ok. When railing is angled down a stairwell the arm does not rotate properly to sit in the clamp so it cannot be fastened properly or securely. Without some serious modifications these railing brackets are not safe.
