Good For What It Is...
This is really a glorified pool toy, at least, as it comes out of the box. But it's a really nice pool toy. The box says it seats five. Maybe you could, but it's small for five adults. Unless you buy a motor, you will be rowing and that makes a lot of the space unusable. The boat handles terribly. That's more of a warning that a criticism. A small current or moderate breeze will be more than you can overcome with the oars. Rowing is difficult, especially if there is a current or any wind. They (Intex) make one size of oars and I think these might be fine on their smaller boats, but on this one they really should be another foot or more. They attach through a rubber/plastic ring but the boat just isn't very strong so there is a lot of play and movement you wouldn't have on a solid boat. It just means your rowing isn't very efficient. The included pump takes a fair bit of effort to pump up the three chambers. Expect a good 20 minutes to get the thing setup and then another 20 to deflate and wipe down/dry off and fold At least without a motor, it's great for a fun day at a lake but don't expect to get very far or to travel very fast. But it's pretty big, it will float, and you can fold it up into a fairly small size. I would have given five stars if the oars were longer.

Great boat
Well if you are reading this you are probably considering buying this boat. Great choice but before you purchase understand this is more than a $150 boat and it has some limitations. First and foremost it does not seat 5 people. It is more of a 2 to maybe 3 adults. 2 adults and a couple of kids would work pretty well. Second, trying to row this big boat is tough. You will want a trolling motor for this boat. Third, at least in North Dakota, if you put a trolling motor on any boat, including inflatables, it needs to be registered with game and fish and you have to follow boating laws. (If you dont put a motor on it you shouldnt have to register it) Fourth, this is an air boat, it works extremely well on little to no current. I havent tried it in a river with a current yet but i dont think i want to. Overall im very pleased with this boat. It seems to be tough as the vinyl is thicker than an air mattress. The fishing pole holders seem cheap and in dont think id trust my poles using them. The boat is very portable but is pretty heavy. Much easier to load and unload with 2 people. Also this boat is rated for 1300 pounds people and equipment weight. I have at least 800 pounds in my boat at all times and it floats great and moves pretty good (5 mphish) with the trolling motor. Alright, if you are still reading here are my suggestions of what you should buy with the purchase of this boat. 1. Trolling motor mounting kit 2. Trolling motor (i used a minn kota endura max 40 thrust). The boat is only rated to 30 thrust or 1.5 hp (33lbs max motor weight according to the box) but im pretty confident you could fit a bigger motor on this if you wanted to. 3. Minn kota power center battery box. This box is great, it shows you battery life remaining and has spots for dc power so you can charge your phone and whatnot. 4. A 29 series deep cycle battery. I used an everstart maxx 29 from walmart 5. Minn kota portable battery charger. I like this charger because it has overcharge protection and is very lightweight and easy to use. 6. A 4 pack of life vests. I bought the orange cheapos but they work fine just to be legal 7. An air horn 8. An anchor. I think mine is 3 or 5 lbs. Trust me you want an anchor as the boat floats away easily when you are trying to stay still. 9. I bought a fire extinguisher. Not required by law but it makes me feel safer 10. Bow and stearn light (green/red for bow and white for back). I found a set for inflatables on amazon and they are AA battery powered. 11. An electric air pump. I bought a dc powered one so i can use the truck at the lake to power the pump and inflate the boat. 12. Industrial strength outdoor velcro. Stuff kind of flops around in the boat. Velcro keeps stuff organized 13. I would consider buying a couple large plastic bins to carry and store the boat 14. Loctite! The bolts holding the motor mount seem to loosen on their own. Using some loctite should help that 15. I am buying led light strips for my boat for better lighting at night 16. Buy dock bumpers if you plan on landing this at a dock. You dont want sharp metal or wood puncturing it

Good boat for the price!
I have taken this boat out 10 times including several rivers, lakes, and even the ocean. Its a fun boat! Inexpensive too. When I first got this boat I was originally looking at inflatable kayaks. One thing to consider is that kayaks will probably row faster and have less drag. But this raft has more room for friends and the possibility of a motor attachment which is nice. I wouldn't use it without the motor unless I was just floating down a river. I use the trolling motor attachment. I have a Newport 36 lb trolling motor and it works but is kind of slow. Rowing is average. It is kind of too wide to row easily by yourself. The shape and the material causes a lot of drag in the water. I have taken four total people out in this boat. I wouldn't attempt more than four. It is fairly quick to inflate. It takes me maybe 15 minutes to inflate everything and I use an electric pump along with a handheld pump so I can inflate two chambers at once. I did get a small hole in the side. I am not sure how the puncture happened but I fish a lot so it may have been a lure hook. I was able to patch the hole with the same material that came with the boat. I used a cutting of the little grey pouch that came with the boat (I never used the pouch anyway) and applied some marine grade glue. So the boat is not bullet proof obviously and has limitations. Don't take it anywhere very rocky or dangerous because it can be punctured. But overall, for what I paid for it I have really enjoyed it and it gets me out on the water!

Finally having fun with my family
I was so excited to buy this boat. It’s super safe. But now I need to get the engine motor which coast almost $300.

Great for River/Lake
We've taken it out on the lake (3 people) and river (2 people, 1 dog, camping gear) and it has performed very well. It has done well on class 1 rapids (have not tried anything greater than that... probably wouldn't want to in this raft). We've scraped the bottom on low areas of the river... no damage. Would buy it again!

Roomy, sturdy raft.
It's a roomy, sturdy raft that handles small waves well. It seats 5 average sized adults easily. I recommend getting a motor just to allow you to enjoy your time on the raft. I used an electric pump to inflate the raft. The manual pump that came with the raft kept coming apart.

Great product considering the cost effectiveness and easy carriage
This product works extremely well for my family of 4 (two adults and two teenagers). Haven't tried loading 5 people, but it is spacy enough for 4 so could possibly fit one more. Especially it's easy to carry as it fits in a bag and it's relatively easy to inflate/deflate. My kids love this product and we are always carrying this when visiting beaches and lakes. I'm anxious to try attaching a motor on this to travel further without paddling.

Outstanding value
Excellent boat, amazing value for money, perfect for 2 adults and 2/3 children. Pumps up in 10 mins and deflates in about the same time. My only advice for someone new to boating and buying this as a starter boat would be don't forget life jackets no matter what type of water your heading out on as if you're moving about from one side of the boat to another it does bounce a bit and also for most UK waterways you do need an unpowered vessel licence which is only £35 from the environment agency. I was dubious given the price whether this would be robust enough but it has far exceeded my expectations and blows the competition out of the water. Why pay £300-£400 for an inflatable kayak that only fits 3 in when you can get a family and bags in this and it'll fold into the boot when you're done. If you're thinking about it, buy it, you won't be disappointed.

this is a really good boat. It can seat 4 people pretty well ...
For the money you pay, this is a really good boat. It can seat 4 people pretty well and is pretty study for an inflatable. We mostly used it out on a lake to relax on. It's pretty hard to go fast given just the included oars because it's not solid like a regular boat so I wouldn't recommend taking it out on a river or wherever there's a strong current. Other than that its sturdy, comfy, and can hold a fair number of people and at this price, it's a pretty good bargain

Brilliant Inflatable
This is a brilliant Boat very sturdy and well made. Inflation of compartments is easy, Deflating the outer 2 compartments are very quick as 2 part valves . The floor is a bit of a pain as you have to hold the valve open to expel air, difficult for one person to do, easier if 2 people. Very stable in the water and plenty of room with 3 adults and 1 10 year old. I have made a plywood floor which makes the boat feel even more stable in the water. See YouTube videos. Also bought electric motor which adds so much to the enjoyment of using this Boat.

Great boat!
Great materials and design. I have had many inflatable boats and this does not seem like one that will start leaking or rip easily. We have used it twice now to float down a local river and no problems at all. We have gone witht wo adults and two kids. There is plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and for the kids to move around. The only down fall is that the pump it comes with was pretty cheap and basic. We broke it right away but most people would want a larger pump or even electric to pump up a boat this big anyway.
