Easy install
Exact part as shown on GE service manual and very easy to install - took about 5-10mins. YouTube has install videos on for this part as well.

Worked good at first and was going to give more stars.
This worked great for the first few months but has started to "lose its mind" again. The temperature setting is mostly correct but sometimes will decide that medium really means hot. I believe this is a know issue with these GE switches. Since you have no choice except OEM, you're kinda stuck with their inferior products. Interesting to note is that it only happens on the front left burner. Other ones are not affected. Poltergeist? Edited Feb 2021: This is substandard product engineering. The switch is still working erratically. Now the back burner on the same side has joined it so the question is whether to buy two more switches or just replace the range with a brand other than GE.

Worked Great!
My teenager brought his hand down and snapped off the metal rod inside our oven knob. I was convinced that it would be a costly, difficult fix, but finally looked up the part on the GE website. I found it for $12 less here on Amazon. It came quickly, and we changed it out very quickly! I am thrilled with the whole process (besides that it originally got snapped off, lol) and if this fits your oven, buy it!

Exactly what I needed
Somehow, someway, a whole lot of chicken broth spilled on my stove. No comment. Some of it managed to drip behind the front panel, there was an electric burning smell, and one of the burners stopped working. I can only imagine how expensive it would have been to call someone out to look at it. So I turned to my old friend Google. Cut power to stove. Removed the stove knobs, exposing the bolts underneath that held the plate on. Removed those, which allowed the front plate cover to slide off. And there they were, the four switch controls for each of the individual burners. Simple troubleshooting determined that some of the broth had gotten inside one of those switch controls. I confirmed this by simply swapping two of them around, and look at that! Now it's a different burner that doesn't work. So I ordered this switch control for amazon, after confirming the model number printed on the one that was bad. It was deceptively easy to replace. Just a little screw holding it down and some wires that snapped into it. If you take the wires off one at a time and snap them into the corresponding slot on the new switch control, it's super easy and you don't have to take a bunch of pics of where all the wires go. After all the wires are moved over (I think there were about six of them) you just put the new switch control in place, reattach the screw that holds it, replace the front cover panel and the knobs. All the burners are back in action, and everybody is happy.

Perfect fit
This fit perfectly and I was able to install myself. Amazon price was $7.00 less than parts warehouses and free shipping. I received part next day after ordering. Very pleased.

Easy instillation
I found out mine switch has dark spot and wasn’t turning the element 8’ on. So I replaced with this and it started working like a magic. Probably took 10mins start to finish.

It works
Replaced the switch on my glass top stove. My original one wasn't turning off without fiddling, this new one has a nice satisfying click when it enters the off position.
