Essential!
I love cooking with Instantpot; it's so quick and easy! Now with a second pot I can cook rice or potatoes in one pot on the RICE setting, set it aside then steam vegetables to go with it in less than a minute. I just put 3/4 cups of water in the pot and put whole or chopped vegetables in a steamer basket or on a trivet and press STEAM.

As expected
I've been wanting an extra inner bowl for my instant pot so I can cook more items for a meal. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find my smaller quart size bowls at any stores so I had to order off Amazon. The bowl I purchased came in as I expected. Its just like my other one. I'm happy with the purchase.

Better than the original insert
I use my instant pot enough that it quickly became clear that I would need an extra insert so I bough this when it was on sale for about 20 dollars. I think it was 30 or 40 originally; I hoped I would find a lower price point and bought it when I did! I threw out the original insert as the nonstick coating was minimal at best and each time I washed it there was more residue that was becoming increasingly more difficult to remove. I will almost certainly purchase this at least one more time so that I can have one in use and one in the fridge holding leftovers or pre cooked grains or soup.

Good but different from my original
I like this new sturdy inner pot, but I took off a star because it didn’t have the cup and liter markings like my original 6 quart one had (the one that came with my Instant Pot) which were incredibly helpful. Also, the pot is shaped slightly differently; fits my Instant Pot but I actually bought this to put in an old but good rice cooker. My original Instant Pot inner pot had somewhat fit in the rice cooker, but this one won’t even go in. So there’s definitely a little bit of a difference. Not necessarily a bad thing though as long as you’re just using it for the 6 quart Instant Pot. I just put my older inner pot in the rice cooker, but now I don’t have the cup markings on my new inner pot. Other than the minimal markings, I’m happy with the sturdy new stainless steel to cook in.

Instant Pot IP-POT-SS304-60 Genuine Stainless Steel Inner Cooking Pot - 6 Quart
If you have a 6 quart Instant Pot, you definitely need an extra stainless steel inner cooking pot! I now use the Instant Pot for cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week, so the extra inner pot makes cleanup more simple, as I always have a spare pot on deck now while the other is in the dishwasher. A spare pot is also excellent for making things like yogurt in the IP that require sitting overnight in the refrigerator. The additional pot comes in handy for holidays, as well. Overall, this is an excellent purchase for IP cooking and well worth the price!

Your product is just as good as the original that came in a. However it doesn't have the non stick coating on it which is OK not Why we purchased it I just wanted to let you know this fall is doing a fantastic job even today

Did not buy this for the small Instant Pot...
...but instead, purchased it to be used for pot-in-pot (PIP) cooking in my 8 qt Instant Pot. I decided to pursue PIP cooking since I like to cook shanks, oxtail, and other tough cuts of meat in a tomato "gravy", and the IP was consistenly giving me the "BURN" message. So far anyway, my PIP success rate is marginal. I'm finding that a regular 20 min pressure cook takes 70-90 min PIP. The PIP challenges aren't fault of this little pot, though. It is very well made and easy to clean.

Fits Galanz 6 Quart Fryer/Pressure Cooker!
I bought this because I wanted a second inner pan for my Galanz pressure cooker, and I wanted one I could use to sauté. This works for both :)

So glad I bought this!
I bought this because my Instant Pot that I bought a year ago came with a non-stick inner pot. The non-stick pot was just "meh" (found it hard to clean and was already making scratches on it). This stainless steel inner pot has been awesome! Love it, wish I bought it sooner. Good heavy material, and easier to clean than the non-stick pot. I highly recommend!!

Excellent additional pot
Excellent purchase of spare pot for my instant pot, either to use for puddings if original pot (with silicone lid) already in use for stews etc, or awaiting being washed! Exactly the same as the one that came with my pressure cooker.

Great as a spare pot
The whole Instant Pot experience has revolutionised our cooking. We keep this as a spare. This inner pot is great for keeping foods in the fridge while you use the other pot for cooking, or if you are cooking more than one curry for example, the cooking time is so quick, it’s great to have a spare pot. We love it.
