The DSIX07-32D is cute and small. Should do the trick.

I already have several traditional doorknob guards where Knobs meet Wall, but in one instance the door swings open BEYOND the wall and the knob might smack into a friendly wall-to-wall bookshelf. I'd rather NOT mount anything to the side of the friendly shelf, which left sticking something onto the baseboard below. As the knob swings wide, I only needed an object which stuck out about 3/4" and also (hopefully) looked nice. Took a while to randomly swap out key words and phrases to stumble over a potential item, but I lucked out and discovered the cylinder shaped DSIX08-32D version. No height was listed (of course) but in the Q&A section several wonderful Amazon customers revealed the height to be about an inch, which was pretty close to what I needed. Was about to buy the cylindrical one when I noticed that a curvy version (DSIX07-32D) was listed as another possible choice. While the curvy one is a tiny bit wider than it's cylindrical cousin, I guessed the curvy one might be more forgiving if one's foot banged into it, so went with the curvy one. Basic Measurements: 15/16" in height/depth, which is what the manufacturer lists on their web page. 1 1/2" in width/diameter, although the web page has it at 1 9/16" - close enough. This item comes with a supplied screw and anchor, although I think I'll try to find a screw/anchor that isn't as long. To install this, The Black Rubber Piece pops off the front, and there is a hole in the back through which one can insert a screw. The only downside might be that the rubber isn't entirely smooth around the outer edge, so if one looks too closely at the Rubber, one may see tiny imperfections around the outer edge. This is minor, and can be easily ignored. Small Update: Have not yet purchased a shorter screw to mount this to the baseboard, but placed it behind the door to see if it would fit - Perfection!! I gather most people might use this to prevent the knob from hitting the wall, but in my case I can't mount anything Where The Knob Is and this item is juuuust thick enough to do the trick down at the baseboard. Needed something that was a minimum of 3/4", and at 15/16" this is as close to perfect as I think I can get. Additional Update: Installed and in place for several months. No issues. FYI: For a different door with a similar issue where the only place to install was at the baseboard, went with B01M9E254N as the clearance was about the thickness of a credit card.

Functional, small, tight and clean

This door stop worked perfectly. A base door stop was not an option for me. The rubber bump is thick yet soft enough to not damage push lock on the door if the kids let it swing open wildly. Item was smaller than I imagined it would be, but I count this as an added bonus. It doesn't take up much real estate on the wall and is relatively unobtrusive, not the eyesore I thought it could be. My only complaints were the dry wall anchor sucked (no grip in the hole I drilled and ultimately fell right through the wall during installation) and no instructions were included although if you've done any DIY projects involving drywall anchors, you'll be fine. I lined the door stop up by removing the rubber bump, opening the door towards the wall so that center of knob is positioned where it would make contact with the wall, and marking the spot through the screw hole with a pencil. Used my own dry wall anchor from a set I purchased for other DIY projects. I do not recommend using an adhesive to stick this to your wall. Will just fall off eventually. I dont believe that is the manufacturer's intention either. I would recommend this item to friends and family.

Super solid, heavy door stop.

It's a door stop, and a nice looking one as well! Very solid and heavy, looks really sharp. Easy to mount as well. The base is a nice polished, weighty metal, and the rubber stop is nice and solid. Very happy with this thing.

Solid, Modern, Effective - Small but Mighty

The media could not be loaded. This is a very well-built modern, stainless steel doorstop with a very solid rubber tip. It was very easy to install (setting aside the issues with my own wall not being properly dry walled in that area). If it weren’t for The hiccup with my drywall, it literally would’ve taken me three minutes to install this item. We have blown glass door knobs that need solid protection and this does the trick... they just bounce right off of the rubber tip.

Small, but works well.

Not the largest bumper, but the nice thick rubber pad offers good protection. Nice appearance. Installs easily. A little expensive for what you get, but works very well.

Perfect door stop!

This worked perfectly for our shower door. We didn’t want the handle to go through the wall but we also didn’t wasn’t something someone could trip over or something protruding from the wall. This was the perfect solution! Beautifully finished, it adds to the bathroom instead of taking away from it.

Nice style. Included anchor too tight, overpriced

Looks very nice. As other review say it is small however as it is a bumper for the door handle it doesn't need to be large. Bad news: wall anchor fits too tightly to the screw: too much force needed to insert screw so that anchor turns in the drywall. I had to use glue. $18 much too much.
