2 years still EXCELLENT!
Love this system, works perfectly. 2 years old now, zero issues, road/gravel/mtb all ok great. 2020 Ford Ranger with 6' bed. I do turn the mtb handle bars 90* so it'll fit inside bed.

A simple solution for 'campers' that works
We have camped/owned a number of travel trailers over the years. Figuring out a secure way to transport bikes is always an issue. Mounting a bike rack to the back of a trailer is not usually a good option, as travel trailers have poor suspensions that break bike racks with the constant pounding they have to endure, and mounting a rack usually involves welding additional support to the trailer frame. Alternately I have seen folks use clever mounts over the hitch or on a roof - but those devices require you to hoist bikes vertically - making it a clumsy and difficult procedure. Storing bikes in your pickup bed is always a better option if you have room, but may of the racking options cost more than the bikes ! This solution is a good one if your tonneau cover works with it. I have a soft Fore OEM cover and I just remove it when we go camping. I transport two full size bikes with one mount per. Easy to install/remove, easy to attach, and holds the bikes very securely. I bungee the wheel(s) as well just so they don't move.

Love It!
I read a lot of reviews on a lot of pickup bed bike racks and decided on this one. Reasons: 1. It was easy to install. 2. Somewhat reasonably priced. 3. Does not take up a lot of space when not installed - easy to keep in the truck for later use. 4. Does not take up a lot of space in the truck bed. Moves the bikes over as far as possible - leaving the center of the bed open for other items. 5. Very secure - hold my bike nice and tight. 6. The best thing...the front tire stays on the bike!. Some reviewers said their bike did not fit well in the brackets - their bike frame was too large. My trusty Trek 720 from around 1997 fit just fine - perfect. But I can see how larger frame bikes may not fit as well. I plan to mark the side rail of the truck somehow so I know where to place the rack if I remove it. I purchased two racks - one for each side of the truck bed. I can lock my bike to the truck using the tie down brackets. The first three photos are of the rack installed in my 2019 Ford Ranger Extended Cab/6 foot bed. Both our bikes fit with the tailgate closed (important). The last photo is of my old cobbled together bike fork rack - This one is SO MUCH NICER. Leaving with the popup camper next week for a few days in MN. Pulling the popup camper with bike and gear in the truck bed. Can't wait. Get this rack - you will not be disappointed. Pedal On.

Well made, easy and secure.
This is a well constructed bike clamping system that makes hauling your bike around in the bed of your truck super easy while keeping it fixed in place very securely. It works perfect in my 2012 F-150. It installs in about 15 minutes the first time because you have to tweak the positioning of each clamp so that it lines up with the frame and fork of the bike. Once that was done, and I had the bike securely strapped into the clamps, I scratched a little mark in the plastic bed rail protector on my truck to mark the exact positioning of each clamp for future reference. Each time I use the clamps now it only takes 2 minutes to set them up and lock the bike down. Each clamp has a swiveling tightening lever with a large hole in it so that you can thread a bike cable lock through it as well as the bike frame. This allows you to lock both bike and clamps in place if you leave it unattended. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the shape of the plastic ends on the horizontal screw arms that fit next to the bike frame. They are lined with rubber and concave in design on about a 1/2" radius. This allows them to snug up very tight to a round bike frame tube or fork that is 2" diameter or less. Unfortunately, the carbon fork on my bike has a very wide profile and so actually rests on the plastic portion of the clamp since it will not sit down in the concave "cradle" with the rubber lining. This may also be an issue for bikes with aero frame parts or trapezoidal frame tube designs. When the frame part rests on the plastic instead of on the rubber lining it has a tendency to wiggle a little bit and the plastic slightly mars the finish of the bike. Regardless, this is the easiest and best truck bed bike carrier I have seen compared to others that folks use in my riding group.

Works well even with my eBike
So far so good! I have used this three times so far to go to the lake! My bike is secure it’s slightly heavier than my other giant non motorized. Works well so far check back at the end of summer 6 months or so. Only wish the clamps were a little more convenient to remove. The handle to tighten is in an awkward spot tucked up under the bed rail. But works great for my short box Chevy with a box inside the box.

Great product -one gripper per bike is fine.
Great product. I can add more photos if needed. I needed something for my truck as I wasn't a fan of broken spokes with my lying bikes on top of another. Seen this product, read the reviews and decided to give it a try. One "gripper," per bicycle is fine, as stated in another review below. I used one per, and it worked out good. I also tied the front and back of the bikes to the truck bed for extra security and support - I used tie downs. Look for a spot that won't wreck your bike when tieing down, such as above the wheels on the metal parts. Drove 100k each way on the weekend for a Granfondo and the bikes barely moved. The "gripper" works on trucks with tonneau covers, obviously with the cover pulled back. It tightens on nicely with a little crank type thingy. Weight limit of 66 lbs I believe, so electric bikes need not apply. Great product if you want to use your truck bed to carry bicycles.

Works very well
You're supposed to be used two clamps per bike ( the box is for 1 bike, if you have 2 bikes order two of them) I ordered one to try before committing to a couple hundred dollars on junk. Well, turns out it's pretty great and I'll be ordering another one. I did use one clamp per bike and a ratchet strap; which worked, but it would damage the clamps if you did it frequently. Great product though

Does not fit a newer honda ridgeline
Product seems well made but does not fit my 2020 Ridgeline. The clamp down screw is too long and cannot be adjusted without cutting and modifying it. The side screw is too short. It wouldn't take them much effort to come up with a version that would work properly.

Bike rack
Very happy with this bike rack system, leaves a lot of room in between for other items. Sturdy and confident they will last for a long time.
