Weather perfect & stylish

Returned the first one for smaller size with easy process. Still big enough to layer underneath. Covers the bum & stays dry in downpours. Have received compliments from random strangers young & old, New York city to Oregon.

Huge! Inconsistent sizing.

As with all Joules items, beautiful quality materials, details, and workmanship. But my usual size 6 is massive and way too long. Meanwhile also returning another beautiful Joules jacket in the same size that's too tight. How about some sizing consistency, Joules? I want to love your jackets as much as your Wellies! Would also be helpful if listing images were accurate. Not sure if this is an Amazon issue or a manufacturer issue but the photos in this listing show a shorter jacket style in certain colors while the marine navy shows a long coat (not sure if different colors are really different length? different height models used? the blue was long).

Fabric is heavy with metal toggles

This raincoat is actually a coat - a true rarity - at least in the navy color I purchased. (Some reviewers questioned the length based on the images shown with colors.) I'm 5'2" and it was just the length and fit I'd hoped to find (below my knees and a comfortable fit over a sweatshirt). I wanted something that would move easily with me, such as when I'm walking quickly with my dogs. Unfortunately, the three stars come in here: 1) the fabric is heavy and stiff and wouldn't really work as a packable raincoat, and 2) there are metal toggles and tie tips for the rain hood. These were a real surprise, especially since the metal tips hit when you turn your head. Very poor design here. I'm returning it.

Packed terrible

Love the coat just very disappointed in the package. The coat looked like someone had it on and was trying it and then the company just scrunched it up and threw it in a plastic bag….. all wrinkled. For the price I expect better.

Larger than expected

I first purchased the coat in my normal size 12. I am pear shaped but have broad shoulders and often jackets are tight in the shoulders. However, I was swimming in size 12. Even cinching the waist there was way too much fabric. The coat is A-lined. I had to exchange for size 10 and it fits very well. Love the fabric. Not too heavy or thin. Perfect for spring in the Midwest.

Beautiful jacket. Other reviews indicated that it fits large - it does indeed! I require a waterproof jacket as I work outdoors - this has not yet been tested but as Joules is a U.K. brand I will assume they know a little something about inclement weather (rain)!

Lovely practical jacket

This jacket I found to be both well fitting - there are inner toggles you can use to pull in the waist- and practical; it has an inner pocket ideally placed to hold a mobile phone and deep enough that you can move around in the jacket without fear of your phone falling out and smashing to the ground. It is made from good quality fabric and the stitching and tailoring are all what I have come to expect from the brand.

Gorgeous green colour, perfect for spring! I’m a size 12/14 and ordered a 12. There’s plenty of room, even for a thick jumper underneath. Really pleased with my purchase.

A waterproof and stylish mac

I was delighted to find this on Amazon as Joules had completely sold out of this Mac in my size and the colour I wanted. I bought a size 6 tho am normally an 8. It is cut well but also roomy enough for a thick sweater in the winter. The hood is excellent and it is definitely waterproof!
