Great Value for a small mixer
I really like this mixer. I needed a mixer but didnt want to invest in a full size Kitchenaid mixer. This mixer holds firm to your work space so there wont be any slipping around while working. It mixes really well and cleans up easily. The only reason that I didn't give this product 5 stars is that there really isn't a slow speed. Even the lowest start up speed is faster than I want it to be. I usually end up mixing my items with a spoon before hand since the mixer jumps right to a quicker speed. Otherwise a really great mixer.

Suits my purpose....
I bought the aqua color Dash Stand Mixer and it was delivered 11-12-2022. Upon opening the box, the mixer was well packaged. Honestly, this looks and feels like it should go in a child's toy kitchen. It's plastic. I thought oh brother, did I waste my money or what.....but I decided to give it a go. I bought this to use instead of using my handheld blender. I recently started making my own butter from heavy cream and it needs to mix for around 10-12 minutes or so before it turns. So I washed everything well and went to work. The mixing bowl is nice and a fair size. It anchors onto the platform by lining up the guides and turning the bowl clockwise. You can't feel it lock into place, or at least I can't, so I tested it to make sure it was locked in place. The mixer also has little suction cup do-dads to hold it onto the counter. Plugged it in and let 'er rip. It's pretty noisy. Since I started with heavy cream I used the beaters, not the dough hooks. The speeds are marked 1-2-3-4-5-6, That's it. Not whip, blend, beat, cream, mix, etc. So you kinda have to guess. In the instruction booklet it says you should not run the mixer on a high speed for more than 10 minutes because you might overheat the motor. I though, oh great, I need to use a high speed to get the heavy cream to turn; but, I started out on a lower speed and worked up to setting 4. I noticed someone said their bowl doesn't turn by itself. Well folks, if you're beating eggs or something light, ofcourse it's not going to turn by itself! Once the heavy cream started to thicken up, that bowl went around on its own with no help from me. There's also a little gadget sticking out the front so you can adjust the bowl for the beaters to stay more centered, or off to the side. Anyway, after about 12 minutes, the heavy cream turned into butter and the motor did just fine. I think one needs to proceed with caution about just what to mix with this appliance; I read someone makes cheesecake. It's probably ok for that, muffins, cake batter, etc., thing that you would make with a hand blender. As for an actual dough, I won't do it. Light items only for this lovely colored plastic mixer made in China. Bought the extra warranty too just in case.

It replaced my $400 heavy Professional KitchenAid
This is light weight, compact and does a great Job. I don't Bake much these days and so my 300lb machine was hardly being used and took up valuable space. I'm absolutely thrilled with this machine now and how easy it is to operate, the power it has and move about.

Dash mixer
Purchased for grandchildren. It is great. Lightweight and easily cleaned. 48 cupcakes later they give it an 8. Their reason is it is a small 3 qt bowl.

Good quality mixer for small spaces!
I love this thing! Easy to use and clean. Good for small homes/kitchens because it's not too large. Works well. I used it to make pizza dough and lemon meringue pie! (:

nice size
It is smaller than a regular mixer! Am 83 years old and the others are too heavy for me to get out of the cupboards. Really a nice size for seniors!

Good purchase if you are on a budget
The media could not be loaded. I've never had a mixer before and I really like the hands- free option this gave me. I had always used a hand mixer and now I can go off and prepare other parts of the recipe instead of standing over the mixing bowl. It is very lightweight, feels kind of cheap but that doesn't seem to affect it's performance. It definitely does the job. That being said, it's smaller than I thought it would be but is perfect for a 1 litre container of heavy cream. I only use it for whipping cream and whipping egg whites for merringue (mostly) but anything bigger than that you'll have to run two separate cycles. Good for a cake mix or icing for one or two cakes. If you are looking for a smaller sized mixer because you don't have a lot of room to store it then this is a perfect size. The only problem I have with this mixer at this price point is that the beater attachments are starting to rust. Im not sure it's healthy to mix my food with rusty beaters so I am in the market for another one. Other than the beaters I would recommend it with the understanding that you are getting what you pay for but unlike a lot of products these days, at least it is still working. Sad that my expectations of products is so low that the bar sits at " is it working?"

Average
It's good but due to no cover sometimes it spills everywhere and the shape of the bowl do not allow to prepare lesser quantities it's quite irritating You can only prepare huge batches successfully small portions does not do well

More for the kids
It is a great item but I find it does not mix well from around the side without a bit of help moving it around. Great for my baking with the kids.

Fantastic little mixer, for the price you can’t fault it
Considering the price of this mixer i cannot fault it at all. I bought this for my small business making batches of cosmetics/bath products. The bowl is so much bigger than I thought and is quite tall, which is perfect when adding powdered ingredients as they don’t puff out when you turn the mixer on. Even the slowest setting was good enough to whip up solid Shea butter easily which I was quite impressed with. There is an option to slide the bowl along the base with a lever, this isn’t something I’ve seen before but found it really useful because you can move the bowl to make sure the beaters catch whatever is on the sides. The stainless steel is really easy to clean and the design is lovely and very cute. It’s compact and small but still big enough to make a decent amount. I have even put away my expensive kenwood mixer and replaced it with this one because it is so much more user friendly and light. You can fit it in a narrow kitchen cupboard with loads of space still. It is so sturdy as well and the materials are probably better quality than mixers I’ve had costing over £100. I’ve also found expensive mixers might shake a lot and move around on the worktop but this didn’t even budge. I love this little mixer and honestly can’t find one thing wrong with it for the price which surprised me as I wasn’t expecting much for £13. I’ve seen a lot of people write negative reviews on this mixer (there are a few on amazon) because it is small but that is the whole point and it is ridiculously cheap.
