Image Skincare firming transformation mask

Image Skincare firming transformation mask : This mask is supposed to support my skins well-being, promote hydration and polish away dullness for improved texture, tightness and tone. How I wish it was able to pull off some magic like that! But I do like the mask. And the fact that it is supposed to help with skin firmness is what really drew me to it. My skin feels smooth and hydrated and my face looks bright and clear. I've got to use it pretty much every other day for a while to *hopefully* see some lasting benefits. Hopefully my photo uploaded....in it you'll see the Image Skincare firming mask next to a bottle of hand sanitizer. For reference, both contain 2 ounces of product. I noticed the Image Skincare tube felt half empty, I was squeezing awfully hard to get some product out. That's when I realized it's only 2 ounces of mask inside that big ol tube that could almost certainly hold double that amount. Idk if they did that to make it look like you're getting more? When in reality I think it's going to make a lot of people feel like they got less than they should've when they've got to squeeze the tube like it's already half empty on their very first time using it.

Since when does “2 ounces” only refer to the capacity of the container? I’d prefer to know how much actual product there is… which is only about half that.

Skin feels smooth and soft after application

I've tried quite a few masks over the years and this one does the best job at giving me soft and smooth skin basically like I have a new layer of skin on my face. It's done a decent job at getting rid of my uneven skin tone as I tend to be red and a bit dry in my T zone area. The instructions state the mask can be used 3-5 times a week or as needed. For me, I get the best results using it once a week rather than only waiting 3 days or so between applications. With this 2 oz container you also receive a small spatula like brush to apply the mask to your face. Make sure your face is cleansed ahead of time and then apply a thin layer on your face and allow to dry for 5- 15 minutes. ( I wait the full 15 minutes) Then wet your fingertips, (wash your hands first so they are nice and clean) and massage the skin for a minute. Rinse with warm water. Make sure you lean over the sink because as you are massaging the skin, the little blue pieces of the mask will fall. By the time a minute is over, most of the mask will be off so you don't have to spend quite as much time rinsing off as you would with other masks or scrubs. At 2 oz, I'm not really sure how many more uses I will get out of this container as it's hard to tell how much is still inside. My best guess is I will get around 7-8 total applications, maybe slightly more.

Also exfoliates!!

This mask is a little different than I expected! For some reason I expected it to be a peeling mask. It’s not! It actually has exfoliating crystals in it, which smooth and clarify your skin. I make sure to really rub it around before rinsing, and it acts like a microdermabrasion product! My skin feels really soft and refreshed. I don’t notice and immediate firming, but time will tell if it has any lasting results. It also smells great! Light and refreshing. It’s definitely not an inexpensive mask at $55, but it reminds me of something I would get at a spa. This feels a lot like the masks they use when getting facials. It’s especially helpful if you steam your face prior to using it (alternatively, apply it after a nice relaxing hot shower!). That way you open up your pores and the product penetrates better. Blue mask for your inner Smurf

This bright & shiny blue mask has jojoba beads to give you exfoliating as part of the mask experience. It comes out of the tube very thick & I had to work to spread it across my face. You get a little brush in the box, which I did not try -- maybe next time that will work better. My skin felt lovely after using this.

Blue Mask

This formula is a blue color that smells like citrus. It comes with a small silicone spatula, which I thought was very smart to include in the box. I resembled a pale Smurf once I applied the mask with a thin layer. There was no irritation whatsoever. After 10 minutes I did as the instructions said and wet my fingers and then rubbed the mask in and rinsed. I didn't necessarily notice a firmer complexion, but my face was very smooth. The next day my face looks fantastic! My complexion looks clear and bright. I highly recommend this product.

Great Mask

I'm not usually a fan of rinse-off masks. This one is the exception. It has a cool blue color that reminds you of a spa treatment. The mask comes with a spatula to reduce mess. It also helps you get even coverage. The mask is both hydrating and refining. It helps get rid of dead skin and evens skin tone. It leaves skin plump and rejuvenated. I highly recommend this product. Tube with the safety seal ????after effect is truly tightening but not permanent, exfoliates

This is exfoliating rinse off mask. I applied generous layer and rubbed it in while doing so, I felt exfoliating effect. After 15 min the mask was dry and the instructions say to dip your finger in water and rub in the mask more for better exfoliating effect. Did that in the shower. My face feels clean and tightened like after a good scrub. I get this type of effect from similar products and the skin is really tightened but this is not a permanent effect. We have to keep this in mind. The tube came with the security seal which is much appreciated. Once I squeezed out the mask a lot of air poured out. So much that it made me question the weight. It’s supposed to be 2oz, my kitchen scale shows 2.3oz mask and the tube (no cap). So if the tube weighs 0.3oz then this is really 2oz mask. I can’t tell until I use it all up. While this is a good mask, I wouldn’t pay this price for it because I don’t feel the effect is THAT good. I will update review if I find it worth 5 stars but so far 4 is most I can squeeze out as value for $ is one of my rating points. I hope my review helped making your decision a little easier :) happy shopping!

Non-compliance with the declared volume

I don't know who gets this rating - the manufacturer or the seller. But if the description says the content of the product is 57g, I buy a mask and expect to see 57g. The tube is half empty. It is a pity that despite similar reviews, I still bought the mask.
