She LOVES this stuff!
My cat will only eat chicken-flavored food, so I got the poultry flavor of this. To get her used to the toothpaste before brushing, I put some on my finger, and she ATE all of it! I hope that's safe. I can't speak to the cleaning power since today was just our first brushing, but she was happy to lick this stuff off the brush even as she squirmed around. We just did the canines today to ease her into things. The instructional video shows a little of the toothpaste itself being used as a post-brushing reward, and I think she loves it enough for that!

Great Product!!! It cleared up my cat’s gingivitis
My 2 year old cat has gingivitis and my veterinarian prescribed this toothpaste to brush his teeth for a few weeks, before possibly having dental dentistry done. His teeth after only 3 weeks have shown a 90% improvement in the gingivitis. Please try this product, it’s great. Make sure to buy an animal toothbrush too. And never use human toothpaste on an animal, it can be toxic!

Dogs tolerate this!
This is the very first vet appointment that we got praised for the 2 dogs teeth!! Must work really well. Of course, we are doing our part and using it every day or at least every other day. One dog likes the chicken, the other likes the beef. We will keep purchasing this product.

Cleans great and my dog loves it
My little guy tolerated teeth brushing with other brands. I bought this toothpaste and he loves it. Prior to his dental cleaning we saw improvement using this. After his dental cleaning we have been using this daily and his teeth look as good as they did the day he had them cleaned at the vets. Most importantly he asks every night to brush his teeth. He loves the taste and while we buy the poultry flavor it does not smell like poultry at all. Hands down amazing product.

Got to skip teeth cleaning
I use this on my small dogs every night. For the last two years the vet has said they don’t need teeth cleaning. They are both 11 years old so I have saved money and the anesthesia risk. I have tried Greenies and water additives for many years but they did not work for my girls.

My Dog loves this for brushing his teeth
our baby is almost 3 years old , so I have been using this for about a year now and brush his teeth everyday, sometimes twice. After going to the vet & having his teeth cleaned it cost us $351 & that was including getting blood work done & having to have anesthesia , So I figured I'll brush his teeth everyday & reduce the cost of the vet , he loves getting his teeth brushed , Loves the flavor

My Shelties love this toothpaste!! They pit up with my brushing their teeth cause they love it soooo much! I always give them a lick from the tube before and after brushing. They go away happy!

My Dogs Love This Stuff
I've tried other products that work OK, but you have to capture and restrain the dog while you brush. With this product (poultry flavor), my dogs line up to get their teeth brushed and then lick the toothbrush once I'm finished.

No security seal
I am shocked that it did not come with any security seal... the product box is just a flap that opens and the toothpaste tube had no aluminum seal either... if someone wanted to tamper with this, they very easily could. I’m calling the manufacturer tomorrow and will update my review when I hear back. I would not use this kind of product with no seal!

Beware
This arrived from overseas in an envelope, battered box and absolutely no security seal over the toothpaste which had come out of the tube. The toothpaste isn’t the same as in the photo, it is clear. I am very concerned that people are using this when it’s not security safe and not as described. It will not be used and I have asked for a refund.

The best toothpaste and, though expensive, the only one my dog will tolerate!
I’ve bought many different toothpaste brands for my dogs teeth and this is by far the best; two applications will remove any smelly mouth issues and ongoing use keeps brown plaque and decay at bay. There are cheaper brands - one that was only slightly cheaper and a well known ‘human’ toothpaste maker but my dog is fussy about toothpaste and literally shakes in disgust at anything other than this Virbac Vetzyme paste. Considering how long it lasts, I think it’s worth paying for this as it works and flavour is enjoyed

Toothpaste shouldn’t be mouldy.
I usually swear by this product for my cats, have been ordering it for years. Unfortunately there was mould in the most recent tube we purchased, so I’m quite disappointed, especially given the price. Relieved at least that it was at the top of the tube so I didn’t give any of it to the cats.

Do not buy. Came with brown gunk in it. Not sealed.
Got Vanilla toothpaste and there is a disgusting brown goo in it. I looked around and seems others who have this toothpaste say its supposed to be white at most off white. Dont know wtf it is but I cant give my dog this. It wasnt even sealed so I really cant be sure. Now I have to spend time packing it up and sending it back for a refund. I think its ridiculous to send a faulty possibly dangerous or old item and not give an instant refund.
