Well made and sturdy!
I used this as one of my checked luggage for an international trip and despite how terrible baggage handlers are, this traveled from Portland, OR to Cebu, Philippines with 2 stops and 4 plane transfers in PRISTINE condition. No dents, scrathes or any issues! I never took images when it landed in PH, but the hinges were in great condition, everything is well made! I was super impressed considering the low reviews for this. I left in the PH and we didn’t use it while I was there but if I hear any issues, I may update my review.

Lots of bang for the buck. Upper mid-grade. Very pleased. Would buy again.
Bought this as a return from the warehouse. I'm very pleased with it. Looks badass. If you keep it in the shade and have it properly cooled off before you ice it down and then keep it in the shade when you get where you're going, it will hold ice for three days and then some. THAT SAID: I usually fill and freeze empty 2 liter soda bottles with water and put them in the bottom of my coolers before I go camp. It seems a little more durable than the run of the mill Igloo coolers, but don't expect Yeti or Pelican quality on the materials... but then, you aren't paying Yeti or Pelican prices for these either. I'd put it at high mid-grade in terms of materials. I've taken our Yeti camping during the triple digit days of summer, and I've taken this one... and so far, they hold up equally on keeping ice. For longer trips, I think four days is going to be the most you get out of the Igloo. Personal test: My first weekend using it we went to the lake for three days. Temps were in the mid-90s, ultra high humidity. Without the frozen 2 liter/block ice, it kept pillow ice for the three days with little melting. I intentionally left it on the flatbed of my truck for three more days after we got home. Bed is black steel diamond plate steel. Three days later, the bottled water and ice melt water left inside was still very chilled, even though the ice had fully melted. Four days later, it was getting a touch warm in there, so I drained it and cleaned it out. So that's 3 days camping plus 3 days in the hot sun on a black flatbed, before it started to get warm inside. Ice was gone on the first day of sitting on the bed of the truck (the fourth day of having ice in it). Did not use block ice that first trip. Going to be putting it to the test this weekend - long weekend, upper 90s/lower 100s, with block ice in the bottom, pillow ice on top. Will update if my opinion changes. TL;dr - Great cooler for the money, even better if you catch it at the warehouse on a return at a lower price than usual. I would absolutely buy it again and would recommend it to someone who doesn't have Yeti Money and needs an upper mid-grade cooler.

Good price, quality is so/so
This cooler is fantastic for the price point. 72 Qts cooler fully stocked keeps cold with only 10 lb of ice for 3-4 days in 80 degree heat, not too shabby for only 140 bucks. The only problem (and its a big one) is the screws for the hinges. As others have said, they're not large enough threads and only fasten to very thin plastic. Both screws on the right side pulled out so quickly, it may have been after just our first camping trip. We have used it several times since then and while it does of course still keep everything nice and chilly, it is so annoying having to constantly reposition the lid and be extra delicate so it doesn't break any further. I contacted Igloo directly regarding this issue and they are clearly aware of it. Their response was that the BMX cooler and all parts are allegedly out of stock with currently no return date. No remedy, no nothing. Just basically yeah, it's out of stock. Customer service 1/10 just for replying. Needless to say this is very unfortunate. The large cooler market is so competitive with coolers going for several hundreds of dollars; this model could have really had an impact. I am not sure if the poor craftsmanship outweighs the lower price here. Might want to consider spending a bit for higher quality. Hopefully Igloo fixes the issue and gets this cooler back out there. It is a shame to have to shovel out 500 bucks for a good cooler.

NEES SOME MINOR MODFICATIONS
No way this thing is going to hold regular ice for five days unless you are in the Arctic in winter. 24-48 hours max, depending on the ambient temperature. The two main complaints from fellow reviewers is lack of a rubber seal on the lid and the screws coming out of the hinges. Both of these can be delt with fairly easily. I went to the large orange hardware box store and bought some 1/4" foam door gasket for the recessed grove on the lid which provides a much better seal. As for the screws, I removed them and coated with JB Weld epoxy. I hope I never have a need to remove them, because they aren't coming out again. Other than these issues, it seems well made and durable. It will receive a test this January with an overland desert trip; during which, I'll be using dry ice, hence the need for a good seal on the lid. It will also get knocked around in the back of a pickup, but I don't think that will be an issue. If this cooler isn't up to the task, I'll modify my rating.

Better than most
I bought this cooler because I initially wanted a pricey roto molded cooler but I was turned off by how much they weigh (look into it or lift one, they are heavy, even when empty). All of our previous coolers have been cheap Walmart coolers and I was willing to spend more for an upgrade that will last. I am glad I went with this cooler. It's lighter than a roto molded cooler but still keeps ice really well. Probably not as well as a roto molded cooler but for a 3 day camping trip, it did much better than our cheap coolers, and by the construction of it, I can tell it will last for many years. If I didn't have to move the cooler once loaded, I would probably go for a roto molded, but we tent camp and the cooler moves multiple times and I can move this 72 quart cooler by myself fully loaded (barely). Wheels would be nice but I don't like the capacity you lose from having wheels so this cooler is perfect. I was actually impressed enough that I just picked up the 25 qt BMX for day trips. Haven't used it yet but it's built just as stout and I'm expecting the same performance from it.

Cooler is pretty good quality, but it has one critical design flaw.
The cooler overall is good quality, but it has one design flaw. The hinge screws on the lid side ripped out within 10 minutes of using the cooler. I repaired fairly easily with longer, thicker screws, but this shouldn't happen. Many other reviews indicating the exact same problem. After seeing how short the screws that pulled out are, its almost comical that somebody thought they would hold. If you don't mind repairing it, it's not a bad cooler.

100th review for the hinge screws ripping out
we were using this cooler on weekend long camping trips throughout the year and by the third trip I noticed the lid was loose. One hinge had no screws left at all and the other hinge was missing one screw and the other screw was half way out. Seems to be a very common problem. Shame for the price… Also, a full cooler of ice doesn’t last a full day, even if the cooler is in the shade. Saw some other people went to igloo customer service but that sounds stressful. ** Save your time and money - don’t buy this

Mal producto
Mal producto!
