Ice in cooler 6 days later
I recently purchased this cooler for a very different reason... I needed to transport my deceased dog from SC to NH over a 4 day road trip in May. We needed to keep her frozen so we could bury her when we arrived. On Tuesday morning we used our Igloo cooler with 4 cooler shock ice hard plastic ice packs and 2 cooler shock silver soft packs around the cardboard box which was inside a plastic bag. We poured the ice we used to cool the cooler 24 hours ahead to fill in the spaces that remained. 2 days later, we checked the inside and the ice was still as we had put it and no water drained. We checked again 48 hours later and still ice, no water. We arrived at our destination on Friday at 3pm and checked Saturday & Sunday...still ice. We were ready for the burial on Monday afternoon and the attached picture is what the inside looked like 6 1/2 days later. Some water did drain from the cooler at that point. My 8lb 16 year old pup was buried fully frozen & preserved. We now have a great cooler & cooler packs to use for our relocation trips twice a year between SC & NH and I'm confident I'll arrive with frozen food upon arrival 3-4 days later. Well worth every penny - amazing combination of the cooler & cooler packs!

Best cooler I've ever used
Couldn't be happier with this cooler. I have another Igloo that does a great job, but this one does a phenomenal job at a far more affordable price than a Yeti. It's a little on the heavy side and takes two people to get into the car fully-loaded (at least, two people who aren't especially strong or muscular), but ice lasts for 3-4 days, especially if it's pre-chilled and kept in the shade. The drain is also very handy. I'd buy it again and again and recommend it to everyone who thinks they need a Yeti. Also sturdy enough to stand on when I'm setting up the camper or need to reach something high at the campsite.

These coolers have performed flawlessly for over a year at my mobile food stand. Worth every penny.
I have bought many coolers over the first 3 years of my business, and the disgraceful quality of most of them is a shameful waste of money and materials by manufacturers to sell sell sell. THESE COOLERS ARE DIFFERENT. They are not the cheapie coolers I've bought, and they have ended the search for something that not only works great, but HOLD UP TO DAILY USE AND ABUSE BY ME AND THE PUBLIC FOR WELL OVER A YEAR NOW. I admit, I am hard on things. I don't treat things nice. If they're tools, I use the tools. I yank these handles to slide the coolers to within reach in my truck, jerk them up fully loaded (I'm estimating 75 lbs) and the public uses them all day to grab drinks from. In and out, back and forth, sliding, yanking, cooling. They just keep taking it. I don't have to 'be nice' to them like so many products. I bought these 'returned' coolers to save a bit until I could sample their worth, and found they didn't have a single noticeable thing indicating they weren't brand new. They have been outstanding. That said, I know when I reload drinks, the drinks and ice/water cools the incoming drinks overnight, and I add a bit of ice the next day and voila! all day cold drinks with the lids flipping frequently! I do not consider/count on multiple days keeping things cold, but day to day, these know how to chill... So, benefits - low ice consumption for my purpose described, badass hinges that don't break like many others, badass latches that are reliable and 'me-proof', handles that don't even hint at failure. The caps on the drain are attached with a durable leash but if you're like me and shut the tailgate with the cap between the truck bed and tailgate, you can overcome the intentions of the engineer and free them from their bondage. Worth every penny I spent on them.

Just what we needed
I did a lot of research on coolers prior to buying this. Wanted a Yeti but we just don’t need something that level. Just looking for a cooler for car trips, cooling drinks at a bbq, etc. and this is it! It’s a great size to fit ice and a lot of food/drinks. Haven’t actually put it to the road test yet but did a 24 hour ice test-just filled the bottom with some out of the ice maker and 24 hours later there were still cubes. This is also pretty sturdy for a blow molded cooler. I can see this lasting for many years to come!

Perfect Everyday Cooler
The cooler is perfect for everyday use. Throw a bag of ice with your waters, sodas, e drinks, etc and call it a day. It may not be "the end of the world, ice last 30 day, costing $6,000 coolers out there", but it is a perfect price for a perfect cooler. 2020 Ford explorer owners with 3rd row, bonus it fits between my upright 3rd row perfectly, and cooler opens!

yetti-adjacent for a big savings
it’s kept food cold during a fall camping trip of three days. i also use it for a long or overnight car ride. The rubber closures are a little odd to get used to, but do provide a solid latch

Great but Does not hold up
It is one year later we have used it 3 camping and one beach trip. There is a10 inch crack down the side starting near the handle on the Inside??? We have not dropped it or abused it in anyway. Water will eventually get inside the wall. Disappointed it only lasted a year. Chose Igloo over Coleman because of size, reviews, latches & handle. It worked great, kept food cold for three days and handled easy till the crack appeared.

A brilliant Cooler
Used the cooler this past weekend for the first time and it performed excellently. Put some ice in the night before use to bring to temperature. Then replaced with 4 small bags of ice on day I began using. It was a very hot and humid 4 days with the cooler stored in the boot of my hit car. I drained excess water every evening. At the end of day 4th day the cooler was at fridge temperature still (I left a little fridge thermometer in there) and had a good amount of ice left in it. Very pleased with its performance.

Still can't justify $400 on a cooler but this is a fantastic alternative
Got the cooler last week and just tested it out at the cottage Thurs-Sun. 1 standard bag of ice with a few tbsp of salt and 4 small cheapo freezer packs, plus 50 drinks prechilled. After a 3 hr drive the beers were slushie haha. I'd say this cooler combined with salted ice is a chilly combo. We just got back home and the few remaining drinks are still ice cold. One thing I did that is found on all high end coolers is a gasket, mine isn't a freeze grade gasket but just an $8 strip of weather stripping from Home Depot. Thought the brown went with my cooler's colour combo nicely. It actually had some serious suction, I could lift the front of the cooler off the ground before the lid would pop.

Great cooler
I’ve been looking at a more robust cooler to replace my Canadian tire special one I’ve had for years. Decided to with this over a yeti or pelican one simply because I don’t need a bear proof one. This one works great from the weekend trip to the cottage or for camping. A few reviews say it didn’t stay cold long enough bla bla bla. The key to any cooler is to cool it down before you pack it. I freeze a half dozen water bottles and put them in the cooler at least 12 hours before I pack it. Dong this, ice was still ice after 3 days in 35+ weather at the cottage
