Instant convert from a 8yr love affair with other

I am new to using the Mario Badescu line. Dove in head first after amazing results with the rose lip balm. In the world of skin care, once I find something that works, I stick with it because I have very sensitive skin, some bouts of adult acne, mostly dry skin but a little combo skin as the day ages. I'm so elated I tried this stuff as a piece to my new skin care regimen I put together from all the Mario products. I washed and toned my face then applied a tiny bit of this moisturizer. My face wasn't dry or greasy. It didn't feel like I should apply a 2nd application after it set in. Well actually, that'd the thing, it didn't set in the way a watery moisturizer would. It soaked up but remained supple. I waited about the usual 20 minutes and I applied my makeup. I don't wear liquid foundation but the concealer and eye primer went on better than ever then I put on my power foundation and it didn't cake or get patchy and applied so smooth. The rest was history my friends. I use this for my neck and chest too. The other day I applied this and nothing after. Ended up in the hospital and not able to care about washing my face. My old moisturizers wear off within the 24 hours I put it on. Well 2 1/2 days later I surface and my face is soft, moisturized, and glowing radiant. What even?! I can't find a con to this so far. There's no fragrance, no dye (it's yellow, so whatever that is), and the bottle may appear small but a little goes a long way. Hope this review helps those who are stuck in their old ways like I was. Try something new ladies and gents. Oh, and for fyi, I use the glycolic foaming cleanser and the glycolic acid toner for my pre game and the caffeine eye cream because my dark circles are ridiculous and I don't know about using this on the eye area. I also have the silver powder which is a kind of mask you use a couple times a week (I just use it once a week to week-and-a-half) for t-zone pores

I love love love Mario Badescu moisturizers

I absolutely love all of the moisturizers I've tried from this line. It's a little pricey for the amount you get but feels like a really quality product that absorbs into the skin and is not greasy.

I believe is a very good product, however is very small amount and ends too quickly. I hope would be done for 6 ounces at least.

Just o.k.

I usually buy Clinique moisturizer. However, I saw on an internet site that Heidi Klum used it so said, what the heck. I find the consistency very thick. It does have a warning on the ingredients that it has peanut oil in it. If you are allergic that could be an issue. This moisturizer is o.k. I probably won't buy again. I intend to use it all, maybe not just on my face, since it is thick and sometimes sticky feeling, but on my elbows and on my heels.

BEST moisturizer I've ever used!

This is the BEST moisturizer I've ever used! I have really dry sensitive skin and it's extremely hard for me to find something that I can use that doesn't make me break out like crazy. This moisturizer made me a believer in Mario Badescu so much that I went out and bought his full face treatments for every skin mishap I happened to have that day. I couldn't be happier with this. I have also recommended to my friends and family. Just a few days ago I had really dry skin all over my chin, cheeks, nose, and forehead.I tried everything I could think of with the products that I had already, and nothing was working. I decided to try this after a youtube blogger friend of my recommended it. It only took a couple days for my skin so look amazing. It think after using this my skin looks better than it did before. I don't even need full coverage makeup after what this has done to my skin!!! It's a miracle product line!!!

Good for sensitive skin and milia.

Update: I am half way through my second bottle and the tiny "milia" bumps on my lower eyelids are almost completely gone. I have had them for years. I use this cream every morning and occasionally use an additional cream at night. Regimen is pretty simple cleaning face twice a day and letting skin breathe at night with no creams applied. Goes on smooth and moist looking. Absorbs well. I lightly pat a touch of tinted foundation/sunscreen on while it is still moist. Skin feels supple all day. I have sensitive skin and I have zero reaction with this product.

VERY HYDRATING!

I wanted to try Mario Badescu for a while, and thought I'd try a moisturizer since my go-to (Obagi Medical) was nearly empty. I'm so impressed with this hydrating moisturizer! I love the squirt bottle vs a pump. I can eek out just the tiniest amount needed. The hydration is very good. I am using less of this than the Obagi and getting the same comfortable feeling on my face. I wear this evening and in the morning under makeup. UPDATE JULY 2019...Back for another! I love this hydrating moisturizer! Doesn't bother my sensitive skin at all.

Awesome rich moisturizer for all day skin protection under makeup, all day office and weekend wear. My skin is very thin due to over twenty years of Coumadin anticoagulants plus numerous other meds. It has become dry and sensitive and this moisturizer provides fantastic rich protection and a smooth surface for all day wear without being greasy, oily or hot and thick. Like all other Mario Badescu products I have tried, this too is a total winner at an exceptional price. Their simple packaging and lack of big store displays helps keep prices within the reach of working ladies but this brand is recognized as top notch quality by many fashion and beauty experts, models and actresses. I'm not famous but my skin loves MB products and this one is a winner!

It's ok

This is unscented and a good everyday lotion. I have very dry skin so I always look for products that will help retain moisture, this did not really help. I still have very dry spots on my skin and have used it for 4 weeks day and night after every wash. It's great for everyday but I would look for a different product if you have very dry skin

Over-rated and stale

This moisturizer is a disappointment. First of all, it smells like stale grease, which makes me think it is an old product but I could not figure this out since there is no expiration date on the package. So application is quite unpleasant. The product feels like a greasy film on your face, it is kind of heavy as if it does not penetrate the skin but just sits on top. Contains mineral oil, which I understand is outdated in skincare. It is not worth the return (it says I have to wait 30 days for a return to be processed) so I guess I will be using it as a hand or foot cream.

Excellent for very dry skin.

I’ve been using this for several years and keep coming back to it. I was concerned for a time that it was worsening my acne and stopped using it but have since discovered that that is not the case. I’ve purchased many higher end moisturizers that are two to three times more expensive and they don’t even come close to achieving and maintaining the moisture that this one does. Love that it’s unscented and will continue to use it in the harsh Canadian prairie winters!

Clean skin very well.

My skin is combination, a little T-zone, this is the best cleanser at all. I find out is the best to remove first with facial towel to avoid product to go in your eyes. If your skin fell kind dry, moisturizer will give you all back. Skin is really clean and ready for next step. Highly recommended product, not expensive and it is going to last.
