Best shower liners ever

I’m finally retiring the ones I brought in 2018. And buying a new set. They have lasted over five years without any issues. Expected discoloration mostly at the bottom from the hard clay water here. I’ve been pleasantly surprised and happy with this purchase. I highly recommend.

Bought another one for spare!

Update Jan 2023: Started to use the last of 3 I bought back in 2018. This last one is just for when I have guests. The other 2 are still being alternated between machine washings. Not so white as the new one but not so discolored that I don't still use them. The first one is curled up at the weighted bottom and a duller shade of white. I will retire it now having done a excellent job of keeping shower water inside the bath. I am on Amazon to buy more! Would highly recommend! I have been through a number of fabric shower curtains in the past 30 odd years and am impressed with this one. It feels like fabric, looks good, doesn't let shower water through but does let light through. I wash it on warm, heavy soil setting once a week, hang back up without drying, and since November it has no sign of mold or orange at the base. The shower is in use daily, some with very hot showers. Can't believe the price for this great shower curtain that it's more expensive, think double, even triple, counterparts couldn't achieve. By now others would have the ugly sight of the orange or black mold. Bought another as a spare and thinking of a third because it seems whenever I find a good product it goes out of production! The only upgrade, which is not a big deal to me, is that it has no grommets, just button holes to put the shower rings through. UPDATE: Jan 2020 Still using the curtain daily, has some discolouration around the bottom weights but going strong. Use one of the new ones for when we have guests but go right back to the original after guests have left. Still wash weekly on warm, heavy soil, air dry on curtain rail. Excellent shower curtain, would buy more but I bought an additional 2 back with original and only use them for guests coming! Highly recommend. Having no grommets has not been a problem as feared, no fraying or ripping.

Happy enough that I bought another one! and not for the wrong reasons

Very happy with this shower curtain. I originally purchased one of these in January 2018. We're on well water, so we have a high iron problem. Even with a great water softener, the curtain turns orange at the bottom after a few months. I wanted something that I could wash. So every few months, I take the curtain down, put it in a bucket with some hot water and Iron Out and let it soak. I repeatedly agitate it to help the Iron Out do its job. Then I just throw it into the washer and run it through a heavy duty cycle (i.e. wash normally, no special care) and let it hang dry. This thing has held up to this repeated process for 3.5 years and doesn't show any signs of failing. We have another shower curtain (not this brand) that has a plastic reinforcement where the hooks go, and the plastic reinforcement has disintegrated under this process. So that one is being taken out of rotation and this new curtain is being brought in. I expect this one to last just like my original one.

Average shower curtain missing "standard" features (weighted bottoms, reinforced tops) but seems like it will last

I've only had the InterDesign Waterproof Mold and Mildew-Resistant Fabric Shower Curtain for a few days... but my first impressions are that this is just "so-so" in terms of design and quality. DESIGN: The shower curtain itself is a very bright, white color. It looks crisp and clean and makes the inside of our shower feel "bigger" because of the bright white color. But I was surprised to find that there are no weights on the bottom of the curtain (something I didn't specifically look for but assumed was mostly standard). I haven't had any issues with it moving or blowing when the water is on, but it did strike me as surprising anyway. Also, I was surprised that the top of the curtain did not have metal rivets to reinforce the holes for attaching to the curtain rod. The material itself is thick (100% polyester) so I don't expect it to be an issue, and perhaps the reasoning for the lack of rivets is that it's machine washable... just again, things I'm used to seeing in shower curtains which surprised me by their absence. QUALITY: So far I haven't had any issues or complains with the shower curtain. Despite the "design" concerns I mentioned above (lack of bottom weights or reinforced holes at the top) it seems to repeal water as advertised and should hopefully last for a while. For the price, I would recommend this shower curtain.

Good shower liner

Liked everything, clear, water resistance. For me it’s a little too thick. I’m in a wheelchair and I have to use it with a shower seat, and it’s a little too thick to manage. Everyone else should love it though.

Works well

This shower curtain serves its purpose and that's about it. I like that it doesn't have metal grommets at the top, but has the stitched hole instead. Nice. BUT, it is not soft as it states it is. It feels as close to plastic as it can get, and yet is indeed polyester. I washed mine today to see if that would soften it up at all, but it didn't. Oh well. For an $8 curtain, it will be fine until I can find one I really like. UPDATE: We have been using this curtain for awhile now and I have to say, it works really well. I throw it in the wash with our sheets every Friday to make sure it gets cleaned and disinfected and I have absolutely no mildew at all. I think the trick for that is washing it weekly, as we do. One thing, I don't put it in the dryer. I hang it back up and let it dry naturally along with our freshly washed shower puffs. Anyway, it did soften up and does what it is suppose to. Am going to buy another one just to have on hand. At this price, you can't beat it.

White curtain, lots of mold and mildew in only six months

When we moved into our one-bed flat for two people, we bought one of these white shower curtains and one side is covered in mold or mildew stains and also the entire bottom length, and that in only six months. We have always let the curtain dry fully spread out and also washed it at 30 degrees three times over the six months.

Not a very good picture of the top of the curtain.

The picture of the curtain is somewhat confusing. Possibly because of the hooks used, it looks (to me at least) as though there are 12 reinforced small circular holes, this is not the case. There are only 12 very thin slits that someone with poor vision will find it hard to see. Probably best used with the shower hooks that clip together through the slit. Will update the review when I've used the curtain for a few months.

Great item, after several months in use there was the usual build up of soap scum but after a quick trip in the washing machine it was brand new again (no wrinkles) I would buy again if needed.

so far so good

so far so good, does the job it is supposed to, the water does not soak through and the bottom hem does not blow all over the place, only time will tell about how ressistant it is to mold and mildew growing on it

Very white and as good as expensive one

Cheap and cheerful looks as good as my M&S one I'm throwing out due to mouldy spots. Why pay more? Just replace more often.
