Suction power
I like them I have been using them for a long time, but I need a larger size. I could purchase the larger ones at a local hardware store before but I can't find them any more.

These are great for holding stuff
Mom got this for our shower, she needed something to hang our extend shower hose onto so she could run it to the other side of the bathtub, and these actually work really well. She put tie strings on the extended shower hose and hooked it up onto the suctioned cup. They have stayed in place, maybe dropped once since purchasing but other than that they work really great for this application. Now we can also hang buff puffs on them if we wanted to. These have a really interesting locking system, you lift up on the hook and then wet the suction and then as you close down on the hook it presses the cup to the wall creating a tight suction... These are very nicely made and will buy them again.

Big disappointment!
The only one I tried was a failure. It would not stay on the shower wall even with nothing on it. Big disappointment.

Not Extra Large, not even Large.
The only reason I'm giving this review 3 stars is because the seller has listed them as being XL hooks, while they are probably more of a medium size. I have several XL hooks of this brand which I bought from the Container Store and they are much larger than these. These hooks stick really well onto glass and ceramic tile surfaces. All other surfaces, if porous, will not work with these hooks.

Works great!
I've seen a few reviews saying these don't work, honestly, I've had no problems at all. As long as you apply them right they don't budge unless you lift the hook again to reposition it, and even then! I still had a hard time getting it off my bathroom wall. I'll probably buy again if I ever need more since I don't see these breaking or loosing suction anytime soon.

Not good for granite tiles
I bought these hoping to hand a back scrubber on the shower wall. These hooks work good on glass windows or ceramic tiles but they don't work at all on granite or any stone tiles.

PERFECT.
These are perfect. They stick really well to my shower walls. The tiles in my shower are smooth. Each hook holds a washcloth or scrub brush. They actually require effort to remove. DO NOT SPEND 3x THE PRICE ON THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT. These will do the job!

Do the job
I use these to hang blackout curtains on my giant west-facing wall-of-window on hot summer days. The blinds don’t allow for a rod or any kind of way to hang curtains. These work surprisingly well and are temporary - so those ugly curtains only come out when needed. Gave it 4/5 b/c one of the cups is a bit of a dud and comes off from time to time, but the rest are spot on. Lever-action makes it easy to stick on and release. The curtain is pretty heavy and 4 of these can keep it up no problem. I added more though to keep saggy top bits to a minimum.

Okay
Had them for about a year and still use them. It's a bit of a trick to get them to stick to the shower wall, you have to make sure the suction cup is extended as far as it will go before flipping the hook down. They've probably fallen off the shower wall a dozen times, especially after I've taken them off temporarily to scrub the walls. They haven't broken though and they keep the shower more organized.

Ensure you place on surface correctly
I bought these to replace others. This model won't work well for a razor unless you use both of them side by side. My previous ones were shaped differently to hold one razor each. We use them for back scrubbers. So far, so good. I'm giving them 4 stars on the individual points because they will from time to time fall off the wall and when they hit the tub, the plastic pin will come out and the whole thing has to be reassembled. If you lose the plastic pin, then it won't work at all. That's why I had to buy new ones. It would not stop me from purchasing them again if needed. Overall, it's a handy product.

The trick is in the install
Bought these to hang two light weight wreaths on my glass patio doors. I've had so many issues with suction cups, I was skeptical about these. At first I had a hard time getting them to stick and thought to myself "I should have listened to all the bad reviews", BUT I fiddled with it, had an "aha" moment and was able to get a super strong suction. The key is to pull the plastic cover away from the suction cup when first pressing the cup to the surface. You should only let the plastic cover touch the suction cup when you are snapping the handle down. It's a little hard to explain but hopefully this attempt helps someone out.
