Bigger surface = flatter seams

I have, for decades, relied on the rectangular drywall screens (and mounts) to finish my drywall projects. I saw a friend use one of these round sanders and he did the job in half the time it would take me. I had to try. Not only did this save me time but I noticed my seams appeared smoother. It makes sense, a larger area will flatten out more gradually. Same as mudding with a wide knife. Anyway the 360 swivel set-up of this sander definitely helps maintain flat contact and you can easily change directions even overhead. I like this so much I bought a hand held one as well.

I wish I had this 20 years ago

I saw one of these on a YouTube channel and knew I had to have one immediately since I had a big drywall project coming up. Sanding is generally never pleasant but given that it's the part I hate the worst, doing the sanding this time almost seemed pleasurable. First, it basically cut my time by about 90%, saved my eyes and back, and it gave me a superior sanding to anything I've done in the past. It's wide enough that it is hard to hit an area too hard, but the weight of it adds just enough that you don't have to push either. Just run it over your wall and you have a highly professional job. One additional thing is that where I used to only hit the seams and the screw holes, I now hit the entire wall, which when there's paint there because I'm doing a big repair job, scuffs up the paint just perfectly to aid in adhesion. This is heavy enough and well constructed so I can't imagine ever needing to buy another one unless someone swipes it. And yes, I now lock it up because I've seen a couple of subs look at this with some envy and it very well could walk. My only regret is not having this 20 years ago, though being 20 years old likely means that my back appreciates it more.

Good sander

Nice solid connector, the attachment pad has worked great for me. No complaints and it is exactly what you expect or feeling like a quality product while using it.

Much easier to use than rectangular sanders

Rectangular sanders get stuck all the time while sanding, you really have to consider your direction and angle to the wall. This was much much easier and forgivable to the angles and force used to sand paint/drywall. Would only use and recommend a radial sander going forward.

Big help

Used for sanding ceilings and it works well. I stand on the second rung of the ladder to get a bit more leverage and "empty" the dust onto newspaper every so often. Happy with this time saving sander.

Sanding large surfaces is much easier

I bought this sander after watching a home-reno YouTube video. It's super for sanding down large surfaces when prepping for painting and/or light sanding between coats. The sander comes with a screen sand paper. It's the first time I've used screening and it works quite well.

Very effective sander

This sander helps to make an unpleasant and messy job much quicker and easier. The large size helps sand a larger area while avoiding making the little grooves that smaller sanders can make. Easy to use with a pole, it can also be used as a hand sander. The soft underpaid really helps with sanding control. One tip: purchase extra sanding screens (I found them on Amazon) — they last much longer than sandpaper and actually help keep the dust down by trapping dust under the screen. You free the dust by pulling the screen off the foam pad. Sandpaper is less expensive, easy to find and does work very well — I find it just doesn’t last as long as the screens.

Great Value and Quality

I was initially going to buy another brand but decided to go for this one due to the excellent ratings. I was quite impressed with the quality of this set. I especially liked the sanding disc that was included that released the residue when you remove the disc.
