Pretty, Slow Install

This fan is very pretty, well made. The install was a bit annoying (especially since we went from a light to a fan) but not terrible. The remote wasn’t paired as it said it was so we thought it was broken, undid everything and tried again. The second time it didn’t work we tried pairing the remote and it was fine. Fan had a good breeze, quiet and smooth.

Beautiful and easy to use

Fan was a bit of a challenge for my husband to install but it is a beautiful, sturdy ceiling fan. I was concerned with the color of the lamp shade based on other reviews but it is just smoky enough in color

The fan is everything it is advertised to be.

For me, the fan was easy to install and it moves the air around the room very well. My only issue is with the dome covering the light. It's not as dark as it appears in the picture and a couple of things from the manufacturing process that bothered me such as tiny blisters and a conspicuous mold line.

Great looking fan.. read for install tip

This is great looking fan. Works good, noise non-existent. Note, this does not work with an external dimmer.. So, one star off. In general terms, easy to install but there's an important tip I learned the hard way. Before you install this to the ceiling, lay the contents on the floor and screw in the screws for the motor housing to the bracket, and also the screws that attach the blades to the motor, as a way of testing and ensuring that they go in and out easily. I found that either the screws or the holes are not 100% clean and very hard to screw them in and needs quite a bit of hand and arm strength. If you first attach the fan to the ceiling, and then try to mount the screws, it's EXTREMELY difficult to overcome screw problems you may have, which can lead to stripped screw head or grooves, at which point, the problem becomes much bigger than it needs to be. Oh, and do not use a drill and use manual screwdriver.

Fan-tastic!

We installed the fan in about an hour. The set up is very straight forward, especially if you’ve ever had another fan. Our old draw chain fan died and we opted for this one because we wanted a remote to avoid the draw chain failing. In the reviews, you will find lots of people complaining about the beep noise coming from the fan every time you press a button on the remote. I could see this being a bad thing in the bedroom, but I actually don’t mind it in the living room. The beep isn’t much louder than a typical alarm clock beep. The fan comes with a blade balancing kit, which we had to use (the video is right after I got it balanced). I would suggest a replacement Edison LED bulb with higher lumens because the bulb it comes with is low lumens (not very bright). We bought the CR 4000K, 12 W, 1200 Lumens Edison bulb on Amazon. We will probably be ordering a second one! : )

Beautiful fan, but non-functional.

This fan and light is absolutely beautiful. I purchased it in March, we installed it in May and it has stopped working as of mid August. I am disappointed to say the least. It may be as simple as a remote problem but regardless...it is the middle of August and our ceiling fan won't turn on. When it did work, it was great. I'm currently waiting on the seller to reply. Hopefully we can come up with a so?Union as we are past our Amazon return date. I will update once I hear back with a solution.

looks just like pictured

Love it. I could have had a little more detailed instructions on installation of light kit, which was the hardest part. Overall a good buy. Sturdy, quiet and nice looking. Looks good in my living room, like that it came with everything, including Edison bulb.

Ungodly remote beep

Fan looks nice enough. I was not allowed to self install in my apartment so I can’t contribute feedback on that- nor did I witness it due to protected isolation from my maintenance person because of covid19. I have a few issues that are apparently not able to be resolved: the Edison bulb always has a dim light when off and I am extremely sensitive to light when trying to sleep- hence this 3am review; the entire system can not be shut off with a switch if you used the remote (if light is off but fan is on switch will turn on light and no change to fan is noted); THE WORST: WHOSE BRIGHT IDEA WAS IT TO HAVE THE INFERNAL BEEP THAT IS NOT ABLE TO BE DISABLED?!!!! Apparently there are ways via YouTube and the wiring or whatever but I’m not about to mess with that. Night one with this new ceiling contraption: woke husband up trying to turn off fan when I got too cold and the light switch would be easiest/faster; beeping scared the crap out of me; angry that I’m up at 3am writing this review because the light is keeping me awake. Sigh. If you aren’t sensitive I guess go for it. Meh. Grumble, grumble.
