Thought had remote, din not!

Purchased two for living room and bedroom to help lower air conditioning bill. Not sure it has helped since haven't received bill yet. Electrican installed before realizing no remote control. They do cool rooms nicely and are very quiet. Not sure how easy to install since electrican installed.

Great fans but be prepared to adjust bracket to fit.

We have purchased two of these fans and I installed the last one myself. They work wonderfully after installation and they are quiet (unless you are hypersensitive to noise) and move a respectable amount of air to cool a bedroom even on the low setting. My only complaint is it took about three hours of frustration to install by myself. If I was an experienced installer I am sure it would have been completed faster. I have installed lighting before but this was my first ceiling fan. The crux of the problem is the bracket. The bracket was about a 1" too wide and would not align to screw into the outlet box. My house is 25 years old and maybe outlet boxes have altered? No problem, after several adjustments to squeeze the bracket, I was able to get it to properly screw into the outlet box. The remaining assembly went fine until the shield/canopy that covers the fan swivel in the bracket and the wiring had to be screwed into place. It screws into the bracket that I had adjusted so it did not come close to fitting the bracket now. It was a frustrating half hour or so of fighting it to get the canopy to align and screw into the bracket with two very short screws. I said a number of very bad words. :) After that, the remaining installation of the blades and light was easy as pie. Even with the problems incurred, I would purchase another one. I will be prepared for the potential problems and have a trusty helper who is stronger than I to adjust bracket and shield. One other note - after about six months the switch on the first fan installed that adjusts the fan speed quit working. The only speed it will run on is low. I hope to replace the switch.

Broken light globes

The fan light globes were broken and missing the set screws. I had already installed the canopy and connected wiring when I discover the broken and missing parts. I'm requesting these items be replaced.

Not the Hunter fan I'm used to

I had an electrician install the fan for me, once he had the blades on, he installed the light kit, and one of the light covers was broken. It was too late to return the fan since it was fully installed, so now I have to purchase another set of light covers. I have used Hunter fans before, and was disappointed with the noise this one gives off. They are usually quite. The fan works well, but like I said, it is a little noisy.

Fans are quiet and easy to install

Fans run quiet and are easy to install. I like them. Only thing I didn’t like, I bought 5 fans and most of them have a scratched blade or missing color spot on blade and no color repair provided.

Couldn't be happier - Revised

My wife and I purchased two of the 42" and two of the 52" fans, and we couldn't be happier. We love the design and look of this model. There were no balance issues after installation and the improved air flow is highly noticeable. ***EDIT UPDATE 3 YEARS*** I was going thru my reviews and noticed this one and felt I needed to give an update. After three years with our four fans, we still have no major issues. Each fan cirucaltes the air just like day one, none of them make noises, and no balance issues have crept up (yet). The blades hae little rubber gromets between the arm and the blade. and afte rthree years thier starting to ware. I can move the blade up and down as if the screws are loose but their not. While I've gotten three solid years out of them, this does concern me. Upon installing the fans there was some wiggle in them but based on the gromets/design and research that was normal, but the amount of give after three years doesn't seem normal. While I don't have balance issues (yet), I will probalby reach out to the Mfg. and order replacement gromets, not a big deal but I think I should have gottent atleast 5 years. because of that I am docking my five star reveiw down to four stars.

Great value

This fan was remarkably easy to install because of the "holding" bracket. Good instructions, quiet operation, pleasing look. So far so good! I was initially worried as I watched the delivery company literally drop the fan on my porch! Seemingly no damage but ...

Bright, silent, effective!

Very quiet fan that puts out a lot of light. Not in a bad way, either. Air movement is good and the fan is almost completely silent. It really didn't take long to install, nor was installation particularly difficult. If you can install a light fixture, you can install this fan. Excellent value for price!

Quiet with no humming, no rattling, and the down rod doesn't gyrate around with reckless abandon.

i put together a few ceiling fans now, and i must honestly say, i was pleasantly pleased with the ease of this one. screw holes lined up correctly, which was super nice. the one little flaw, was the tight fit for the wires in the containment "piece/hub?", but i guess this isn't really a flaw, just a tight fit. The hub piece could've been a wee bit bigger. Easily a 1 person job. Seems nice and solid, plus it looks great. i would recommend

Clean, modern, and simple look.

Very easy to install with the guide. Seemed like short blades at first, but when put all together looks nice in a small/medium room. Blows a lot of air. Four speeds: Fast, medium-fast, medium slow and slow. There's a reverse switch to pull up air in the winter and blow down air in the summer. We replaced a larger fan that had such bad wobble due to bent blades that it looked like it would fly off at any moment. This fan has zero wobble and the sound of the motor can only really be heard on the highest setting. This high setting is quite fast so I would imagine most would keep it on the medium-fast speed, or lower. We're very happy with the look and functionality of it! Matches our room well too!
