We love this fan. Needed to replace a really old fan and this one had everything that we wanted. Great price. Easy to put together and install. Really quiet and looks great. Definitely recommend.

I'm sorry I waited so long to install ceiling fans in our house! We have a small house with central air, but there's no circulation - the air in the house is just stagnant and the central air isn't distributed evenly. I did a ton of research on blade pitch, size, etc and decided this was the right fan for my daughter's 10 x 11 room (even though everyone said it was too small to make any difference). I am a woman in my 30's and did the installation myself. What a learning experience. I bought a brace to fit between the ceiling joists only to find that my ceiling joist was flush with the small ceiling hole. I had to go up to the attic to screw in an electrical box I found at Home Depot that is meant to install to the side of a ceiling joist (Westinghouse Lighting 0124000 Sidemount Plus Fan Box, 2-1/8 Inch Deep) which was the perfect solution to my problem. I screwed that into the joist, then realized the wiring in my old house is colored differently than the instructions (my "blue" wire is actually red, my "white" is actually beige, and I don't use the black ones at all) I just sent videos of the wiring to my dad that I took when it was still attached to the previous light fixture and he told me how to hook up the wires. Once that was done, the actual installation of the fan was a piece of cake! It works perfectly, very quiet (my 19 year old daughter commented on how quiet it is compared to the stick fan she'd been using) and pushed a ton of air through on both medium and high settings. It is actually PERFECT! It's sturdy and looks great in her room. I just bought the same fan in the dark wood color for my room which is the same size and am so excited to get it installed that I paid the $16 for next day shipping! Now that I know how to do it, I'll have it done in less than 2 hours this time! If you have a smaller room you'll love this fan! It's quiet, pretty, and pushes a lot of airflow with it's 13 pitch blades.

Love this fan!!!

Perfect fan for a smaller room. I originally planned to order a standard-size fan, but then saw a buyer's guide from a fan company that made me go back and measure my room and reconsider. I wanted this fan for a 9x10 bedroom with 8 ft ceiling, and a standard 52" fan would have been ridiculously big. I looked at the 42" ones with longer thinner blades than this fan but their proportions bothered me aesthetically, and they had mixed reviews for performance. When I saw this model I really liked the overall balanced appearance, and the reviews were good so I ordered it. Sooooo glad I did! I was worried about how I'd like the included light kit and was very pleasantly surprised, it's a very soft pleasant light and it goes beautifully with the fan. Putting it together did take a while, but I think that's true of all fans. My husband installed it with the Hunter 99122 Universal 3 Speed Ceiling Fan/Light Remote and it paired instantly and the remote works great with this fan. The fan is VERY quiet and operates smoothly. The first speed is perfect for overnight, providing a gentle breeze. The 2nd speed is wonderful and still quiet, and will definitely move plenty of air around. The 3rd speed is vigorous and did cause a slight ticking noise which I think is the pull-cord tapping on something - I will try to secure the cord if I decide to use the 3rd speed but I think I will be happy just using speeds 1 and 2. The light, as I mentioned, is very attractive and the dimming function is wonderful in a bedroom. I am just thrilled with the fan and light. I've attached 3 photos of it installed.

I bought this for a 7x10 bathroom and couldn’t be happier.

First, let me say that I live in Florida and have 60” Casablanca Panama fans in all of my medium to large rooms. Secondly, the people who bought this fan for a normal size room and complain about the dim light or the lack of performance are just plain idiots! I bought this for a 7x10 bathroom and couldn’t be happier. It gives sufficient light for a secondary source, as intended. This is NOT intended for a primary light source, DUH! The performance is superb! This little baby moves a lot of air, and even blows paper off the counter top. This is perfect for a small size room. It was very easy to install and only took me about 30 minutes. It wobbled at first, but I followed the directions to balance the blades and now it cranks on the fastest speed as solid as a rock. I’ve been running it constantly for 2 days and it is quiet and powerful. Further, it looks really cool! So if you have a smaller room that needs air flow and some light, you can’t do better than this little beauty! UPDATE 11/2/15: I've changed my mind about the light. I love it! The soft, warm ambient is wonderful. I now use it as the primary light source in the bathroom. UPDATE 3/21/2020: It’s been nearly 5 years and this fan has been flawless! I use the fan everyday, and use the light for my primary light source in the bathroom. The fan and light have been remarkable, and it’s the best $89 I ever spent!

The fan was delivered with a broken glass for the light. It was damaged in shipment. The Amazon representative (Michelle) and the Hunter representative (Francis) were very helpful in getting this resolved. Thank you both. Too bad FedEx is so sloppy when handling Customer's property.

Hunter Quality and Nice Looking Fan

I needed to replace my kitchen fan (not a Hunter fan). Every other fan in my house is a Hunter and they have lasted years and years and years. So this was a no-brainer. Plus it is very attractive. I love the LED lights. I did not install, but the installer had no trouble putting it together and mounting it. It makes a slight sound when it is in medium speed, so it is not whisper-quiet, but certainly not noisy or annoying. Small, excellent fan in my estimation.

Can't beat a Hunter fan!

Great fan for my narrow kitchen... quiet but moves air really well. Four stars because the light fixture part is a little big; as installed, the bottom of the light is 78" from floor ... glad I'm short!

They're great little, durable

We have 4 of these in all our bedrooms and the kitchen. They're great little, durable, fans that move allot of air quietly. The only gripe is that they hang a tad low (even with the short rod). I wouldn't advise them for use in homes with low ceilings; otherwise, they're fantastic,
