Down Rod Works w/Different Brand Fan.

Used this on a Kensgrove 54 in Brushed Nickel fan. since the local HW store where I bought the fan did not have a Kensgrove 12 in. downrod in stock and would take 1 week to arrive if ordered online. Amazon delivered next day. Colour matched the Kensgrove fan, so no issues there. The rod was an EXCELLENT fit. No wobble and the fan is still up and spinning (has not fallen from the ceiling as yet). No issues with alinging the holes for the pins or the hanging ball. Only one MINOR issue - needed a different screw for the earthing wire as the screw from the Kensgrove did not match the hole on the downrod. This was a minor inconvenience and a total non-issue with the installation. Replacement worked like a charm.

Matched Hunter Brished Nickel Fan

These downrods are the perfect color match to the Hunter fans that have brushed nickel metal components. The fan did not come with a 12 foot downrod and we have high ceilings. I previously bought a "brushed nickel" downrod from Home Depot but the color did not match. Happy that I found these. They work and look great!

Fits Westinghouse ceiling fan (52" Delancey DC motor)

Needed a longer down rod for my Westinghouse 52" Delancey ceiling fan. Could not find a "brushed chrome" down rod, went with this 12" brushed nickel. To my eyes, the colors match perfectly. Was able to swap the hardware to the longer down rod no issues. Original down rod shown next to the replacement ordered.

Only one thing missing for a five star rating...

When you buy this product in the store (Home Depot for example), they come pre-wired. It's a small thing--but a really helpful thing. I was disappointed that I had to go out and purchase small lengths of wire and thread it through the rod. Otherwise, it was exactly what I had hoped/expected.

Sturdy, good quality. Good price.

Glad this was sold on amazon. So easy to find! Installed the fan on a peaked ceiling so ended up needing an extension. Fit perfectly. Good quality fan!! Don’t hesitate to order this extension. It works fun with Hunter fans.
