Bright light

Crap

The bare metal locknut that secures the socket at your desired orientation broke. Why isn’t anyone still making the plastic versions, like Taymac Corp, of the these fixtures. Even they seem to have gone metal that will eventually rust. I bought four about 10 years ago for an oceanfront installation and they all still work with exception of on socket that rusted out in spite of the seal and dielectric grease.

Really Nice Product

Replaced a crummy front porch light with this setup and couldn't be happier. Made of good strong metal with screw covers for unused ports. Try a bright LED spot in one arm, and regular 60W in the other, or buy one of those screw in electric outlets with a chain, for use with electric tools outside the home. The options are endless and that work box area makes connecting wires a lot easier. Mine's out of the rain, but unit comes with rubber grommets as though it might be waterproof.

Hubbell-Bell LT233WH Traditional Outdoor Flood Light Kit, White

This was a replacement for a square ceiling mount light. I needed something to install smart bulbs on my front porch that was without a cover due to the heat of LED lights causing them to blow out. This fixture was very simple to install, taking all but 10-15 minutes. All hardware is included and simple instructions. It mounted perfectly on my ceiling and it could be mounted just as easy to a wall. There are multiple holes in the box making it easy to insert the light socket where you want. This made it simple to adjust for the direction of the bulbs. One thing to make certain is to use the included plugs in the empty holes with a small amount of calk in order to keep this waterproof. The price is perfect for this fixture and I highly recommend it.

Not the correct size

This device is quality and I was looking forward to the waterproof feature with the sturdy rubber surrounding the floodlight. However the floodlight kit would not attach to my current metal box. I was shocked because I have a standard metal box that I have used for several similar floodlights and motion detector floodlights. I am not complaining about the quality of the product because it is well made. I am very disappointed that it wouldn't attach to my current metal box. I thought I was purchasing a standard floodlight kit that would work with any metal box.

They worked great. I replaced an existing light on the corner of my house. It had rusted and the bulb had broken off inside the old fixture. These lights are very good quality. They're metal with a thick coating and they came with the hardware I needed to replace them. It made a huge difference in the illumination of the back yard. We've had an issue with prowlers and bears in the yard and I don't like going out there without knowing that I'm not walking into a bear in the dark. This light definitely does the trick. I can see most of the 3/4 acre lot when It's on.

Easy to install.

These lights were easy to install both on the side of the house as well as on the sofet. Are working great.

Nice fixture, better than cost of local big box.

Solid fixture. Easy install as I was replacing a fixture that broke while I was trying to screw in some new LED floods. Crazy the other one snapped right at the base (not this brand) which unscrewing an old bulb but they can't last forever. I like this came with all I needed to install. Also like the gaskets for the bulbs. Last fixture did not have this which I am thinking might be why the old bulb seemed welded/rusted into the socket.
