I am a die-hard lover of HPD and have become hopelessly addicted to their velvet curtains! They are exceptional in every way: Fabric--is soft and smooth and heavy. Lining--provides complete blackout qualities for light, noise, and heat/cool. Grommets--large, nickel colored, slide smoothly and provide nice contrast to curtain color I promise you will love these velvet drapes. They are a joy to handle, hang easily and quickly, and will escalate the look and feel of your room immeasurably. These curtains provide a rich. sophisticated, elgant look without demanding much effort! Very highly recommend.

SEXXSY ARSE CURTAINS!

Really liKe the quality of these velvet curtains. No off gas smells while unpacking them and they are very easy to install. Love them! Really like the velvet feel and the soft contrast of the off white really works as it the perfect sheen and colour for my living room. I like the backing for that blackout type feel yet I wanted some like to shine in. This is just enough and they are heavy as to keep in the heat or cool air during the extreme weather days. Overall price is perfect and priced right if you know how much curtains are to buy.

Heavyweight velvet curtain

I actually got this curtain panel to use as a photo backdrop, and I hung it on the window behind my pencil Christmas tree. The velvet is really nice, and the white made a perfect backdrop for not only the Christmas tree, but our Christmas photos as well. This is a nice, heavy curtain panel, and it did not let any light in which was perfect for my use. The velvet hangs and drapes beautifully. Very pleased.

Pricey but high quality

I ordered the color gallery taupe and I'm sort of happy with it. When there's not a lot of direct sun, it's the perfect mushroom-y taupe color. Has a decent amount of grey mixed in with the beige. But in direct sun (from south facing windows) it turns a really brown camel-y sort of color (see my attached comparison). I don't love it in direct sun. I guess this is why white and light colored curtains are so popular - you don't get as huge of color shifts as you do with the mid tone colors. This is not a blackout curtain, but it does block a ton of light. I like to be able to tell if it's day or night when the curtains are closed, so these are pretty perfect in that regard. Except on a really cloudy day it might be hard to tell.... The velvet is heavyweight and the liner is midweight. You shouldn't really put these on a flimsy thin rod as they are decently heavy. The grommets are a shiny silver. I compared this curtain to another taupe color from the same brand - in a blackout version (library taupe) - and they are the exact same color velvet. Only the liner is different. So if you want this color in blackout, there you have it. Overall, while these are pretty pricey for one curtain panel, they really are a heavy, quality curtain that I think both feels and looks expensive. I would recommend it! Hope this helps.

Classy, keep light out perfectly

I love this drape. To order, make sure you measure your walls and windows to avoid any adjustments. This drape fits perfectly. The color Avalon blue is so classy and goes great with the plush velvet texture. It completely changed the room, made it so much more elegant. The are ready to put on the rod, no additional changes are needed. In the morning all the light is blocked. I plan to look for more such panels in different colors for another room. Recommend this product.

Beautiful

Beautiful, thick, and heavy curtains. Very soft to the touch and absolutely gorgeous.
