Protect your Face

This has come in handy for sparring sessions at the boxing gym. My nose is alittle long so it does stick out a bit, but only cartilage is getting hit. It protects the bones in my face just fine. It's highly adjustable in sizing. Good quality too!

Good headgear, there is some room to improve

Ive been using this headgear for a while now. I have a quite sensitive nose, so it usually gets busted up pretty fast during sparing, so I decided to try a headgear that also covers the nose. Im glad I did. It does its job great. It protects you from most punches that would otherwise leave a mark and leave you with a swollen nose. With stronger shots you still get hit a little and feel the shot, since it moves and flexes a bit, but nothing major. The sizing is on the large side, if your in between, go for the smaller size. I usually have all the helmets(fulface bike, motorbike) in L size, one in M and I got a L/XL model. I have the back strap all the way together to get a good fit. Build quality is ok, but could be better. Its heavier than standard headgear(understandable). Could be softer feeling, compare to some others I tried, without the nose protection, maybe it gives that kind of feeling because it holds its shape really well, but overall good feel to it. Theres stitching going through the middle of the forehead area, which you feel if you get punched hard and it can also leave a mark(rarely, but it happens). And for me personally, the ears opening position is a bit off, it kinda pushes on my right ear and I have to correct it from time to time, so that it doesn't press, probably a size thing. It has no jaw protection, so watch for those uppercuts. Seeing and breathing is great it doesnt take long to get used to it also the weight is not a problem. Its stays on you solidly when you are taking punches, but of course it will move a bit if you get it on the nosebar, so some correction mid-fight is required. Sweat wicking is great. Overall it has some minor flaws, but it does what it says in the tittle, it saves your face. Im really happy with it and my nose thanks me often.

Extremely comfortable

If you think you need the L/XL size, GET IT. I used this headgear for about 2 months now and it is by far the best nose guard headgear I’ve ever worn. At first it was right around the cheek area but I did minor adjustments and I was good to go. It’s worth it for you big headed fighters like myself

Face Saver, indeed

I use this for boxing, I spar once a week, and I wear a size 7-5/8 fitted hat (23-7/8"). I have one other headgear that I purchased before this one, and that one is the Rival d3o Intellishock headgear. The Rival headgear is good, but I started looking for something that would give me nose protection. A few of my sparring partners use this headgear, and they recommended it, so I went with it. Upon first fit, the headgear was way too tight. The back of the headgear has an adjustable strap, but the back is held together by elastic strap, so that limits the fit (as noted above, I have a very large head). I ended up fitting a pair of mitts in the headgear overnight, and the fit felt much better the next day. I'm certainly glad that worked out since I needed it the next day--I got hit by a nasty cross while sparring against my first southpaw, and boy did it save my face (definitely rung my bell). The visibility in this headgear isn't too shabby, either. The only downside to it is the chin-strap design--you have to pull the strap really tight to ensure your chin doesn't slip out. This seems to be a common problem at the gym with this headgear.

Paint peeling

Feels ok when sparring so far. The only problem I have is that the paint started peeling from it immediately… even before sparring just from trying it on. It’s getting all over everything in my bag and clothes. I’ve never had this problem before with boxing gear so it makes me question its authenticity/quality.

*leather is alright its not the best quality and its pretty thin. *padding is stiff but ample *internal plastic frame for face sheild is very stiff i weight 200lbs i had to stand on it and sort of hop a little to get it to spread enough for my face *linner is soft When i got it it smelled like and still smells like someone peed in an elevator and no one bothered to clean it. Hopping its just adhessive and other synthetic materials that air out and eventually leave but 3 days since un wrapping it from plastic bag and it still smells that way. It came very narrow i ordered the xl/l and apparently i just have a big head.

Its not worth 100 but still does its job.

It took weeks for me to break it in. You want to have the laces on the top as loose as possible or else tour forehead is going to get caved in and you neck will get messed up. It was so tight at first i had to take it off every few rounds. The good thing about this head gear is that it leaves ur face nice and clean after a rough sparring session or if you have an injury on your face (like me, eye injury) its great for covering and protecting, although it wont completely protect you but itll provide enough. I had a nose bleed once after sparring with this idk how. The worst part about this headgear is that its like a big face mask and when you get hit with hooks and uppercuts itll fling your head side ways and hurt your neck. Ive had many sore necks due to this. Even a grazed shot can turn your head completely. Also the strap isnt very tight so when tou grt hit with an upper cut itll come almost right off, i have it as tight as i can get but it still wont even touch my neck area so ther is a big space between the strap and my neck. Not to mention it blocks your vision in many cases. I wouldnt use this headgear at all unless if you have a injury or have a competition coming up and you dont want injuries (but it could actually injure your neck..). But at least youll look cool when your wearing it.

Solid and well-fitting.

A little tight on first wearing, but I understand you have to break them in. Otherwise, it feels premium, solid and safe. Protects your nose from being broken and is easily adjusted. I haven't sparred with it yet, but it's hard to imagine any other design offering better protection. Fits snugly, covers completely and feels premium. What else could you ask for?

Feels very uncomfortable on my forehead because I have a pointy head....my son finds it more tolerable because his forehead is less sloped than mine....worth considering your head shape before you buy.....check reviews on YouTube also
